The following steps show how to log off or disconnect from your virtual desktop 15 Even though disconnecting is not recommended, it can come in very handy at times. When disconnecting from your virtual desktop (without logging off) all your applications are keep open just as you left them. Your virtual desktop continues to run in the datacenter. However, if you stay logged into your virtual desktop these changes will take place during the Virtual Desktop Maintenance window. Virtual desktops will not be accessible each Monday morning (Sunday night) between 2:00am and 4:30am to allow for any scheduled updates/changes to take effect. 17 Virtual Desktops are rebooted each Monday morning (Sunday night)! Be sure to log off your virtual desktop before Monday at 2:00am to ensure you do not lose any unsaved work.
