4. ACTIVATION OF ADVANCED PUBLISHING SERVICES PLUGIN On the application server, edit the D2 configuration files used by the installed D2 web applications. Depending on your D2 installation, it can be under the path of D2-API installation (for instance, C:\Program Files\EMC\D2\config ) or directly located under the Web-INF/classes of each Web application. Check on D2 installation guide for the recommended location. If there is a file named "D2-Client.properties", edit it. Add a line: plugin_x=< installation path of Advanced Publishing Services >/ P2-Plugin.jar x equals one if you have no other D2 plugin installed (such as C2, O2 ) Otherwise, x is the number of the previous plugin, plus one. Be careful with the path you are using. It can either be relative or absolute. Repeat these steps with the file "D2-Config.properties" instead of "D2- Client.properties". The installation is over: You can now safely restart your servers (Content and Application) You should now see Advanced Publishing Services mentioned in the list of plugins, at the bottom of the "About" screen displayed from D2-Client/D2-Config (Help menu).
