This minimizes ptential wrkflw interruptins caused by imperfect media. In additin, during RAID grup initializatin, users will have a chice between an Advanced Initializatin methd which will thrughly scan and clean the selected media minimizing the RAID grup s susceptibility t errrs. This is usually dne the first time a RAID grup is created and requires that n I/O be allwed during the prcess. Anther initializatin methd added, Express Initializatin, allws users t perfrm I/O during initializatin and is generally used when the media has previusly been thrugh a full initializatin cycle.
