XPART Training User s Guide
Research: Recent Searches Is a list of the last 15 Make, Model, and Serial numbers combinations that you have searched in Xpart. At any time on this screen you can choose to show or hide this list. This is accomplished by clicking on the Up or Down double arrow.
Selecting Makes To choose your make and model, start by selecting from the drop down list or typing in the text box. The search button will enable when the minimum search criteria has been entered.
Search Models To search for a model in Xpart, you can either type or select one of the models listed from the drop down. Depending upon the Make selected, other search boxes will also be available.
Models Not Listed TVH has added a feature for customers that are subscribed to TIS. If you enter a Model, Serial Prefix, and Serial Number of a unit that is not in Xpart and press the Search button a message will display stating that the information entered is not in Xpart. If you press the Research Request link, the information entered will be transferred to the Research Request page.
Select Model To select a model from the model list, click the blue text to select row.
Optional Specifications To select a optional specifications, click on the blue text to select row. You don t have to use the Optional Specifications when searching, but this feature will narrow the amount of parts the customer has to search through.
Process Selections The research menu options allows you to quick search to related information request To process selections, click the continue button. Note: The continue button will only enable once a model is selected from the model list.
Model Breadcrumb The Model Breadcrumb tells you what you have selected from the model definition page. Clicking on the blue arrow it will take you back to the model definition page where you can change you selection.
Helpful Hints Above the Model Breadcrumb are Helpful Hints that once selected will give you instructions on the topic you have selected. To select click on the blue text for the topic you would like to know more about.
Hot Part Only Models Some models in Xpart only have fast moving items listed. These are called Hot Parts. If the model you have selected only has Hot Parts, those category s available will be shown.
Full Catalog Models Models that have all information from the OE parts manual are called Full Catalog Models. This information is shown in a tree view by section determined by the manufacture. All Full Catalog Models also have Hot Parts. Hot Parts are always the first section at the top of the tree.
Section Tree After you select the section, you will see that there are several pages listed. As you see below, sometimes there is additional information for a page.

Full Catalog Pages After you select your page, you will see that part numbers will fill up the grid below the tree. In addition, if IRMN has a picture of the part listed in the grid below, a thumb nail view of this part with ref number will show in the box on the right of the tree.
Item Information Window To view the Item Information Window, click or you can click on the thumb nail image of the part. The Reference shows what section it is found in the manual. Clicking on the image will display the item information screen, which will allow you to add the item into your parts inquiry screen.
Part Inquiry, Quotes, and PickLists In addition to selecting the Inquiry at one time. Icon, you also have the ability to send multiple part numbers to Part To do this first click the check box next to the part numbers you would like to check price and availability. Next at the bottom of the page click on the Submit button next to the drop down that says Part Inquiry. Once complete a message in green will appear saying how many part numbers were successfully added.
Part Inquiry, Quotes, and PickLists In addition to sending part numbers to Part Inquiry, you can also send part numbers to Quotes and mypicklists. To do this click the check box next to the part numbers you would like then choose one of the following. Quotes At the bottom of the page there is a drop down menu, by default it says Part Inquiry. If you select Quote from the list you have the ability to add part numbers to your lists of Quotes in IRMN. You can add a new quote or select from the list you already have. mypicklists If you select picklist from the list you have the ability to add part numbers to you re picklists under the mypicklists tab.
Research: Part Specifications Icon To display additional part level specifications and codes, click the button.
Research: Corrections Icon To submit a correction click the press Submit. button, fill out the Correction Needed section, and
Parts Expert Icon To submit a request to the Parts Expert, click and fill out the pop up box.
Research: Go To Full Catalog To jump from Hot Parts to Full Catalog, click the button.
Advance Search Note: This feature is available to customers who have Full Catalog. Where Used Allows a user to search a manufacture for a specific part number. Button shows after a manufacture has been selected Keyword Allows a user to search a truck (model and serial number combination) to see if a word is used. Button only shows after a model has been selected

Reference Allows a user to search for a reference/group number in combination with a truck (model and serial number combination) Button only shows when a Clark or Toyota model has been selected Assembly Allows a user to search to see if an assembly is listed, and display all parts contained in that assembly Button only shows when a Clark model has been selected Mast Allows a user to search for a mast, and will display all parts (except table parts) contained in that mast Button only shows when a Clark model has been selected
mypicklist Tab After you sent part numbers to their PickList, you can then view the items under the mypicklist Tab that is at the top of the page. You can add, delete, and move part numbers in their PickList by selecting the check boxes on the left side of the grid, then clicking the corresponding button. You can also send these part numbers to Part Inquiry or one of their Quotes using the buttons at the bottom of the page.
Additional Features When the continue button is pressed on Nissan and Toyota models, a message will display, if the serial number entered is outside the range of our information. This is to eliminate problems with customers bypassing the pop up that said The first known good serial number will be used and not knowing what this serial number is.
