Please note that because K-12 education accounts are unable to utilize the new Google Plus, instructions will refer to Picasa. If you are utilizing Google Plus for a personal account and have joined Google+, your photo albums will not be referred to as Picasa unless you decide to unlink from Google+. Look at the upper right-hand corner of your screen. You will see your network account number followed by @ww-p.org
Picasa 2 Pull down the menu and click Account Pull down the More menu and select Photos You may be asked to input your password again to activate first time use of Picasa.
Picasa 3 Utilize the Upload button to upload photos that you have previously downloaded and stored on your network account, computer or flash drive. CREATING ALBUMS Select the Album Name where you want your online photos to be stored or create a new album. If you do not make a selection, the default will be the current date. Once you click the Upload button, you will see this message. You have the option of either dragging photos from your source (desktop, flash drive, etc.) into the area OR clicking on the blue Select photos from your computer. The image you select will upload into the designated web album. You can do the same with video; however, keep in mind your limited storage space. Images should be appropriately sized prior to upload.

When you go to upload a photo, your Online storage status will be listed in the column on your right. Select the My Photos tab The Edit visibility option will allow you to control access to your albums and photos. Click the Your Albums will be listed here. Photos can be easily reorganized. Picasa 5 f you are going to link your photo or album to your SharpSchool webpage, blog or discussion forum, you need to select Limited to your domain, anyone with a link to your domain. Picasa 6 Click on Link to this Photo Select Size Click Hide album link Photo reuse You have the option of allowing or not allowing reuse of your photo. Copy Embed Image code This code will be pasted onto your SharpSchool page. Go to your SharpSchool webpage, blog or discussion forum. Scroll to the bottom of your page Click the <HTML> option The code will look like this
Picasa 7 <br/> stands for page break. Paste the code after a <br/> Click Design
Picasa 8 If you right-click (control-click on a Mac) on the picture, the picture menu will appear. This allows Image Mapping as well as the ability to adjust other Properties Although the image can be resized on your page, keep in mind that the original image always resides in Picasa.
