New Features This section provides a brief overview of the new features in this reease. Additiona information for these features may be found in: Meeting Exchange 5.0 Bridge Tak User s Guide, document 04-602163. Updated Java Version Bridge Tak 5.0 instas with Java 1.6.0. Important:! Important: Before instaing Bridge Tak 5.0, if the bridge.properties fie was customized in the prior reease, copy this fie to a different ocation to retain customizations, as bridge.properties is not used in the 5.0 reease. Once the new instaation is compete, copy the customizations to the XML fies in the Bridge Tak instaation directory as described in Meeting Exchange 5.0 Bridge Tak User s Guide, Document 04-602163. Uninsta previous versions of Bridge Tak, using Add/Remove Programs from the Contro Pane. In addition, remove any Bridge Tak icons from the desktop. A ines that were transferred as a group via Line Transfer wi be returned to their origina conference with the Undo Last Line Transfer command. Mute A Dispayed in Conference Detais Window The Mute A state is dispayed in the conference detais window as a non-settabe attribute. Participants can unmute and remute their individua ines when Mute A has been invoked by a moderator. Administrator Properties Bridge Tak customization is avaiabe for users with administrator and maintenance eve privieges via a new.xm fie in the Bridge Tak instaation directory. Conference Room Coors Coors for conference rooms and for security and ock can be customized on a room by room basis. Coor customization by conference name provides easy identification of a conference within the conference navigator. Logging Based on Bridge Bridge Tak ogging identifies users by ogin, bridge connection, and date. This customized ogging mechanism creates a separate og fie for each bridge connection made by an operator. Logs are captured in the bridgetak.og fie. Important Information Do not set an E1 CS700/CS780 system configured with an Ericsson switch on a MD110 to Set Nighttime, which prevents the system from answering any cas. 2 Document number: 04-602164

Workaround: Use defaut browser to aunch URL from Conference Detai window. The Show Conf Detais box is not avaiabe from the Line Detai diaog box of an active ine. An operator can change the name of a ocked conference via the conference navigator. Bridge Tak correcty prevents changing the name of a ocked room via the Conference Detais diaog box. No Operator Transaction Log is produced when conference scan time is changed from Bridge Tak. Bridge Tak updates are up to three times sower if you seect to cascade windows versus tie windows. Bridge Tak response can sow down after proonged operator activity. Workaround: Log out and back in if the appication appears to sow down. Occasionay, after pacing a ine in conference via the Line Detai window, the fu toobar wi not dispay correcty. When a ine in a fex conference requests hep, the ine is initiay shown as being in conference named "?". Two rows remain highighted after a ine is transferred out of the conference room. Workaround: Do not make changes in Tempate.xm when Bridge Tak is open. Oder Bridge Tak shortcuts are not overwritten with the Bridge Tak upgrade. Workaround: Remove desktop icons prior to upgrade.
