Only full changes are listed in version 1.x.x. If you perform a split shipment (invoice) the quantities of you first shipment (invoice) will not be recorded. The full stock change will only be recorded when the whole order is shipped (invoiced). The status in the overview will then be 100% correct.! 4 GENERAL USAGE With this module, you are able to retrieve a full overview of all orders and stock movements for each product. There are two general views on the stock changes 1. General Stock Movements An overview of all the stock movements measured on a product. Actions that are monitored are: Product Update (backend user), Create Order Front (#ID), Create Order Back (#ID), Cancel Order (#ID), Credit Memo (#ID). The data is presented in a grid. Every new change on a product is presented in a new row. One can filter on all the different columns, like: SKU, QTY Change, Date Created,.... 2. General Product Order Overview An overview of all the stock movements measured on a product, separated per order state. Using this overview one can check how many products are listed in NEW orders. These are orders that don't have a shipment or Guide PHPro Stock Monitor Module 5
invoice yet.). The data is presented in a grid. Every new order of a product is presented in a new row. One can filter on all the different columns, like: SKU, QTY Change, Date Updated, Order State,.... On a product detail page two tabs are added: 1. Order Overview An overview of all the orders where the product is listed, is presented. The grid is divided into different columns: Qty Backordered Qty Canceled Qty Invoiced Qty Ordered Qty Refunded Qty Shipped You can export the data to csv or Excel XML 2. 5 CONFIGURATION In the menu System > Configuration you will find a new tab: You will get these configuration options: If you enable the Stock Notification email you will receive emails when the product stock will drop below the number configured in "Catalog > Inventory > Product Stock Options > Notify for Quantity Below" A Cron Job is configured to remove all the Stock Movement data after x- days. This is the notation for the data cron: */20 * * * * => Every 20 minutes of every hour, every day, every month and every years, the cron will runs. More information and examples can be found here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/cron The maximum age of records responds to the maximum amount of days the record will stay in an overview. Records in "General Stock Movement" and "Stock Movements" on the product detail page are cleaned. Guide PHPro Stock Monitor Module 8
6 SPECIAL CASES 6.1 SPLIT SHIPMENTS DETAILS When you perform a split shipment the status in the "General Product Order Overview" and "Order Overview" on the product detail pagina, will remain the same: processing. Only when the products of an order are fully shipped, the data in the "General Product Order Overview" and "Order Overview" is updated. 6.2 LOGGING WHEN MANAGE STOCK = NO When you configure a product where the stock shouldn't be managed, the "General Stock Movements" will not be populated with data for this product. However, the grid "General Product Order Overview" will list all the order data of that product. Is might be interesting for a merchant to get a view on "From the 20 ordered products of A, how many products are invoices?". 6.3 PRODUCTS WITH CUSTOM OPTIONS Custom options do not have stock. That's why they are not listed separately in the general grids. In the "General Stock Movements" the SKU of the custom option is not listed. In the "General Product Order Overview" the SKU of the custom option will be added to the SKU of the purchased product, for example: MA464LL/A- 1yr_p_l 6.4 GROUPED PRODUCTS / BUNDLED PRODUCTS When ordering a grouped / bundled product the grid "General Product Order Overview" will list type = grouped products. Because the Grouped / Bundled products do not have any stock, stock changes when performing a credit memo will not be registered at the grouped / bundled product. The simple products will be registered. 7 MORE INFORMATION PHPro is part of the Cronos Group.
