I FST there are three major subjects: Fiacial Statemet Parameters Fiacial Statemets Export Fiacial Statemet Data You ca produce fiacial statemets with Safari IfoTOOLS, which is built by Iteractive Software System Ic (ISSI). The Safari IfoTOOLS form a software package that is used for reportig. The Safari IfoTOOLS are itegrated with the BaaERP software ad cosist of two mai parts: The Safari IfoSERVER, which operates o the UNIX or NT server The Safari ReportWriter, which operates as a cliet o the PC Fiacial Statemets 1-1

The Fiacial Statemets (FST) module i BaaERP 1.2 The modules related to FST Figure 2 shows the other Baa Fiace modules that are related to FST. GLD FBS FST Figure 2, The modules related to FST Master data ad prerequisites If you wat to create fiacial statemets, you ca export data from the Geeral Ledger (GLD) module ad the Fiacial Budget System (FBS) module ad store it i the iterim tables o the Safari IfoSERVER. As a result, you ca use the Safari ReportWriter to geerate fiacial reports from the iterim tables. Before you ca start workig with FST, you must defie the fiacial statemet parameters. These parameters are eeded i order for you to correctly implemet ad work with FST ad Safari IfoTOOLS. 1.3 FST s fuctioal procedure FST cotais oe fuctioal procedure called the fiacial statemet procedure (see sectio 2.1). If you follow the steps of the fiacial statemet procedure, you ca: Lik multiple rages of ledger accouts ad dimesios to oe statemet accout Defie paret/child relatioships betwee the statemet accouts Copy (a part of) the geeral ledger stucture to the statemet accouts Defie fiacial statemets over a rage of compaies Copy a fiacial statemet to aother compay, across compaies, ad withi a compay Check a fiacial statemet Fiacial Statemets 2-1

The fiacial statemet procedure Note Step 2 Step 3 Step 4 Statemet Accouts (tffst1520m000) Use this sessio to defie the fiacial statemets accouts. You ca also idicate how detailed a statemet accout must be. If you use the paret/child relatios, you ca calculate the total of the statemet amouts. The defiitio of the statemet accouts forms the basis to export the Baa Fiace data to the iterim tables of the Safari IfoSERVER. Statemet Ledger/Dimesio Accouts (tffst1521m000) Use this sessio to list the rages of ledger accouts ad dimesios that are liked to the statemet accouts. Export Fiacial Statemet Data (tffst1200m000) Use this sessio to export data from the Baa Fiace tables to the iterim tables o the Safari IfoSERVER. As a result, you ca use the Safari ReportWriter to geerate multiple reports from the iterim tables. I other words, you do ot have to perform a export ru for every sigle report. You ca idicate how detailed the followig iformatio types must be that are stored i the iterim tables: Statemet accouts without details Statemet accouts with ledger-accout details Statemet accouts with dimesio details Statemet accouts with ledger accouts ad dimesio details These four types are available for actual data ad for budget data. 2.2 Itegratio of Baa FST ad the Safari IfoTOOLS If you use the Safari IfoTOOLS, you ca geerate fiacial tables i two ways: Directly from the Baa Fiace tables. Through the iterim tables that are stored o the Safari IfoSERVER. If you use a batch process, the iterim tables are filled with data from the Baa Fiace history tables. I FST, oly the history tables of the Geeral Ledger (GLD) module ad the budget values of the Fiacial Budget System (FBS) module are accessible. If the report structure fits the charts of accouts structure, you do ot eed to trasfer data through the iterim tables. If you wat to lik multiple rages of ledger accouts ad dimesios to the statemet accouts, use the iterim tables. Based o the statemets-accout setup, the data is copied from the Baa Fiace tables ad is restructured. The, you ca geerate reports from the iterim tables with the Safari ReportWriter.
