Choose your SCHOOL from the list and click 3 3. Enter your email address and click 4. If you DO NOT already have an account, you ll be prompted to enter your FIRST and LAST NAME 5. And create a password. Then click 4 6. Once your account has been created, you ll be taken to your TEACHER HOME PAGE. SKIP TO STEP 13 to continue 5 6 NOTE: Once you ve created your NGLSync account using the provided URL, you will go to NGLSync.Cengage.com to access your courses.

Choose your SCHOOL from the list and click 9. Enter your email address and click 10. If you already have an account through Login.cengage.com you will be directed to login to NGLSync.engage.com 10 11. Enter your email address and password and click SIGN IN. 12. If this is the first course you re setting up, you won t see much on the page. Click MANAGE COURSES in the top right. 13. You ll be taken to your Teacher Dashboard home page to create your course. 11 12 13 NOTE: Once you ve created your NGLSync account using the provided URL, you will go to NGLSync.Cengage.com to access your courses.
13. From the Teacher Home page, you can create your course by clicking CREATE COURSE. 13 14. Select your SCHOOL from the dropdown & click 15. If you are CLONING a course and received a COURSE KEY from your district or a colleague (or a previous year), you can paste it here and click VALIDATE COURSE KEY. If your Course Key is valid, the course name, title, ISBN, and Primary Teacher will appear. Select and click 14 (SKIP TO STEP 18) 16. If you are creating your course for the FIRST TIME, scroll down and select the BOOK you will be using for your course. (All titles the district has purchased will be in this list, so be sure you are picking the correct title for your class.) 15 17. Click 16
18. Enter the START and END dates for your course. (Semester or Full-Year) and click 18 19. Select the GRADE from the dropdown. (You can choose MULTIPLE GRADES at the bottom of the list if necessary) and click 20. Create a Course Name (must not be the same as other course names) and click 19 21. You ll be taken to your Teacher Home Page where you will see your newly created course listed at the bottom. 20 21
22. To access your new course from this page, click the ACCESS NGLSync PORTAL link in the top right corner of the screen. 23. From the NGLSync home page, click the LAUNCH COURSE button. 24. The FIRST time you launch a course in NGLSync, you will be asked for your Cengage login credentials. This will only happen the very first time you create a new course. 25. When you launch EACH course for the first time, you will need to accept the MINDTAP SERVICE AGREEMENT. Scroll all the way to the bottom of the agreement and click ACCEPT. (You will NOT have access to the content until you click ACCEPT.) 26. You ll then be taken to your course preview page. Click ENTER 27. Providing STUDENT Access 1. From your Teacher Home Page, click the MAGNIFYING GLASS next to the Course you are rolling out to Students. 2. Copy the REGISTRATION URL and provide this link to your students. 1 2 Students MUST use a self-registration to set up their account for the first time. However, if students have already set up their NGLSync account, you can also provide them access to your specific course by simply providing them with the COURSE KEY. Please see the STUDENT QUICK START GUIDE for directions on how Students establish their accounts. NOTE: DO NOT have your students access their courses through login.cengagebrain.com. THEY WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ACCESS THEIR COURSES ON THIS SITE.
Accessing Student URL If using Self-Registration and you do not see a Registration URL for the course, you ll need to manually Edit the course to allow for Self-Registration. To do so, follow the steps below. 1. From your Teacher Home Page, click the MAGNIFYING GLASS next to the Course you are rolling out to Students. 2. If there is no REGISTRATION URL under the COURSE KEY, click the EDIT button. 1 2 Course URL should appear here 3. Select YES under Allow Self Registration and click UPDATE. 4. Your Registration URL is now available and you can share with your students. 3 4 NOTE: DO NOT have your students access their courses through login.cengagebrain.com.
