The performance data is variant depend on the flash media and capacity. There are some general rules: SLC will faster than MLC; High capacity will faster than low capacity at write performance; Advanced process of Flash will have advantage in cost, but will have disadvantage in performance and endurance; Higher write throughput will consume more power when use same Flash media; SLC will consume less power than MLC at same write throughput; We list some typical configuration for reference. 4.3.1 Data Transfer Rate SLC FLASH Channel Sequential Read Up to Sequential Write Up to 2G 1ch 30 15 MB/S Unit 4G 2ch 60 30 MB/S 8G above 4ch 80 60 MB/S 6

The endurance major rest with host s writing intensity. 7
The write endurance is variant depend on the flash media, capacity and host access pattern. There are some general rules: SLC last longer than MLC; High capacity last longer than low capacity; Sequential data last longer than random data; Boundary aligned data(4kb, 8KB, 16KB ) last longer than unaligned data; \ 2G 4G 8G 16G 32G 64G 128G 256G 512G Read unlimited unlimited unlimited unlimited unlimited unlimited unlimited unlimited unlimited Write MLC Write SLC N/A 60G/day 8G/day 80G/day 10G/day 100G/day 30G/day 300G/day 50G/day 500G/day 50G/day 500G/day 50G/day 500G/day 50G/day 500G/day 50G/day N/A 4.4.4 Data Retention 4.4.5 MTBF Data retention above 10 years @ 25C The MTBF (Mean Time Between Failure) is estimated using a prediction methodology based in accordance with the Telcordia Special Report SR- 332 issue 1. The prediction is based on a parts stress analysis. MTBF (Mean Time Between Failure) > 2,000,000 Hours 4.4.6 Bad block management Embedded advanced bad block management can replace the bad blocks with reserved blocks available automatically. 4.4.7 Power Lose Protection On-board back-up power units are provided, it works with special designed FW and hardware circuits to protect user data integrity during emergency power lose 5.
