How to search for ebooks Library Catalog Go to http://zblibrary.info. Click on Catalog. Click Log In at the top of the page. Enter Card Number and Password. Click the Log In button. Select ebooks & eaudiobooks from the first dropdown menu. Select desired search field from second dropdown menu. Enter desired search term in Search Box. Click Search. *For a more refined search, click Advanced Search located next to search button.* 1
From the list of search results, choose the option that best suits your needs. Please note that in order to help make your selection easier, a field for the ebook vendor has been added. Hints, Tips & Tricks If you wish to access the title from an app, only checkout the title. DO NOT OPEN any download files that may pop-up in the browser. See additional handouts for instructions on how to access titles through the apps. You can now view your digital checkouts through the MY ACCOUNT option in the catalog. To Return, Renew, or Delete digital checkouts, you ll have to do so from each app, not the catalog. 2
How to search for ebooks OverDrive App Download and install app. Search for OverDrive in your device s app store: Google Play, Apple s App Store, or Amazon App Store. 1. Open the OverDrive app. 2. Authorize with an Adobe ID or create an OverDrive account. 3. Go to your Bookshelf. 4. Tap Add a Title (My Media Mall). 5. Sign In. 6. Select Library: Zion Benton Public Library and click GO. 7. Enter your library card number, and click SIGN IN. (Optional: Select remember my login information on this device.) Browse or Search by clicking the magnifying glass icon. The Advanced Search option available under the search bar. Select your item. ebooks have a book icon and eaudiobooks have a headphones icon. If the icons are greyed out, you ll need to place a hold on the item. ebook: Select item, BORROW, GO TO BOOKSHELF, DOWNLOAD select EPUB format, Confirm & add to app. LOADING NEW TITLE pops up. eaudiobook: Select title, BORROW, GO TO BOOKSHELF, ADD TO APP (MP3 Audiobook), LOADING NEW TITLE pops up. 3
To access downloaded titles Go to MENU button (Three horizontal lines in the upper left hand corner), BOOKSHELF, Tap cover of book, begin reading or listening. Hints, Tips, and Tricks Always open the app BOOKSHELF first. This will make navigating and finding your titles much easier. Holding down the cover image will bring up additional title options: RETURN TO LIBRARY, SHARE, and DETAILS. Once a book has been downloaded, this is the only way to return a title. If available, the RENEW option will appear next to the title in your MYMEDIAMALL Account Bookshelf. 4
Axis360 App Download and install app. Search for Axis 360 in your device s app store: Google Play, Apple s App Store, or Amazon App Store. 1. Open the Axis 360 app. 2. Swipe through intro or skip to get started 3. Search for library: ZION 4. Enter your LIBRARY ID (your library card number). Optional: Select Remember Me. Search or Browse for titles. For ebooks: Select title Checkout Confirm checkout Once the download is complete, you ll see READ NOW, RETURN, and REMOVE. 5
For eaudiobooks: Select title Checkout Confirm checkout Once the Download begins, you ll see a progress bar. You can LISTEN NOW while the download is in progress. Here is what the audiobook player looks like. Hints, Tips, and Tricks The headphone icon signifies eaudiobook, e icon signifies ebook. Dark grey indicates the title is available, light grey indicates the title is currently checked out and you ll have to place a hold on it. Proceed to the app BOOKSHELF (the books icon at top) to see CHECKED OUT, ON HOLD, and WISHLIST items. 6
OneClickDigital App Download and install app. Search for OneClickDigital your device s app store: Google Play, Apple s App Store, or Amazon App Store. Set up your Username and Password at http://zblibrary.info. 1. Select Country. 2. Select State. 3. Type in the Library Name and select correct one. 4. Enter your Username and Password, then tap the arrow icon. Optional: Select Remember Me. Follow or skip the tutorial, this is the app s landing page. 7
Search or browse titles by selecting the magnifying glass. You ll be prompted to enter your password if you don t have the Remember Me option selected. Hints, Tips and Tricks Create your account first, then download and authorize the app. Refresh the landing page if you ve chekced out a title via the library catalog. 8
Zinio for Libraries App Download and install app. Search for Zinio for Libraries in your device s app store: Google Play, Apple s App Store, or Amazon App Store. Create your Zinio for Libraries account at http://zblibrary.info. 1. Log in to your account. 2. Browse the website and Checkout your desired titles. 3. Open the app and select the basket. 4. Download and read! Hints, Tips & Tricks for Zinio Make sure that you download the ZINIO FOR LIBRARIES app, not the commercial Zinio app, which is meant for purchasing subscriptions. The emagazines do not have a due date. Zinio titles will stay in your account until you delete them. When viewing a magazine with an active internet connection, some links are live. Excellent for shopping. 9
