Our new 2018 search tool will be available from 9 May! How can I access the new search tool? You ll be able to search for courses directly from the ucas.com homepage by filling in either the Search for courses tile (see right) or the search bar at the top of the page (see below). When you complete the drop-down fields, type in the course or provider you re interested in, then click the search icon. You ll be taken directly to the relevant search results and be presented with a list of courses that are available to you. Completion of these fields means you ll see the correct results for the scheme (undergraduate or conservatoires) you are interested in, and only the search results for the correct scheme are displayed. Click the Sort by filter to change the ordering of courses. Top tip: You can test the features and get used to the feel of the new search tool by visiting our postgraduate search tool. What will happen if someone uses a search engine, e.g. Google, to access the search tool? If a student searches for UCAS search tool (or similar) via a search engine, they may be sent to our 2017 search tool. To avoid confusion, we suggest they always access the search tool from the ucas.com homepage, as they will automatically be directed from here to the right place.

From here, you ll be taken to your personal dashboard where you can view your saved searches and shortlisted courses.
How do I save a search? Once signed in, click the Save search icon (available in the Filters section of the search results page). You ll be asked to name the search and will be able to save it.
