THE LOGO The Premier Pools and Spas logo has been a mainstay for over 25 years. The essential elements of the text have stayed the same, but over the years we ve added and adjusted the oval and colors. Here are the specifications on the logo and its colors and usage. 2 Size: the size of the logo may vary according to its use, but make sure to keep the proportions correct: 3½:2 in all cases. Do not stretch or compress either dimension to make it fit a smaller space. 3.5 Single Color: if you need to use the logo on a medium that doesn t allow for multiple colors, you may use the outlines only, with one of our approved company colors. This is good for usage on shirts and other physical mediums. Again, make sure to keep the logo in its proper dimensions.

THE FONT We ve chosen Open Sans as our corporate font. It s clean and flexible; it allows for various styles without changing the actual font face. In addition, it s usable equally in print and the web for consistency throughout all our branded materials. Do not mix other fonts in with our main font. Adding other fonts blurs the consistency and makes type more difficult to read. Here are the various styles available: Open Sans Light Open Sans Bold Open Sans SemiBold Open Sans Light Italic Open Sans Bold Italic Open Sans SemiBold Italic Open Sans Regular Open Sans Regular Italic Open Sans Extra Bold Open Sans Extra Bold Italic Usage Examples: TITLES ARE ALL CAPS AND BOLD subtitles are all indented, lower case and regular Consider using emphasis in text (especially for web use) by having your paragraphs in the light style, and then anything you want emphasized use the bold style. This attracts the eye to the key points you want to get across. You can also add emphasis to content by adding color. When using color, use the PPAS aqua in bold style. This draws the eye even further to the point that you want emphasized. On blue or aqua colored backgrounds, use white text, and the gold color for emphasis. This helps draw the attention to words you want highlighted.

OUR NEW COLORS In developing our brand, the obvious color palettes would be based off of blues due to the nature of our industry. It wouldn t make sense to make the base color red when you are trying to invoke thoughts of swimming pools and the outdoors. So we are establishing our scheme off of a base of a strong, class navy, and then adding more fun accents to evoke feelings of fun without diluting the color pallete. Here are the exact color values of our new colors. Usage of these colors are not flexible - don t use your own version of aqua just because it s aqua - stick to these color values. THE TILES Our new highlighted visual element is what we call the tiles or the window. Invoking the thought of pool tiles, or the view of your new pool through your window. Utilizing this style, we have a lot of visual flexibility through all mediums. Between our websites, advertisements, marketing materials and more, you ll see the tiles as the baseline visual element tying all branding together - the Premier Pools and Spas brand.
