Welcome to the Bank of Punjab Mobile Banking App The BOP Mobile Banking app lets you take control of your personal accounts. This guide helps you set up, register and use the BOP Mobile Banking app on your smart phone. You may wish to have your phone handy while reading this guide to help you get the most out of banking on thego. Once you are registered, you can do your everyday banking quickly, securely and conveniently, including: Check your account balances View Transaction Details Transfer funds across Pakistan to any account Utility Bill payment Internet Service Providers bill payment Mobile bill payment Mobile Top ups Schedule periodic funds transfer / bill payment The App is completely self service from subscription to transaction execution.
How to download the app and register Before you get started you will need to download the Bank of Punjab Mobile Banking app to your smartphone. You can do this by following below steps, depending on the type of your phone. 1 Debit Card Your Debit Card is the primary requirement for the registration of Mobile Banking. If you do not have one, you can request it through a Branch 3 SMS Alerts For Mobile Banking registration it is necessary for you to register for SMS Alerts Service. If you are not registered for SMS alerts service, please call at the call center for registration 1. Go to the App Store 2. Search BOP Mobile 3. Install the App 1. Go to the Play Store 2. Search BOP Mobile 3. Install the App Once you have downloaded the BOP Mobile Banking app, you are ready to start registering For registration please check that: Your CNIC is with you Your Activated Debit Card is with you Your remember your Debit Card PIN You are registered for SMS alerts service 3 1 2 2 Debit Card PIN The application will authenticate your Debit Card PIN for verification. If you do not remember your Debit Card PIN, please call at the call center for PIN issuance
Registering your Mobile Banking Account When you are ready, open the app and follow the steps below You will need to enter your CNIC number, Debit Card Number and your ATM PIN. You will only need to enter this information once. Register for the app using a Debit Card. If you have more than one account, choose one to register with; you will be able to add your other accounts in the app after you have finished registration. On Screen 3 please ensure the following Your Mobile Number is Correct The Login ID should be at least 5 characters long and may contain up to 20 Alphabets and Numeric characters. Special characters are not allowed. Your Password On successfully completing your Mobile Banking Registration, your password will be sent to your registered mobile number. On your first login, the application will ask you to set the password of your choice. Your password can be up to 8 characters long and should be consist of Alphabets and Numeric characters. 1 Tap Don t have an account? 2 Enter your CNIC, Card Number and ATM PIN. 3 Enter your First and Last Name and Choose your Login ID
Logging In Along with your Login ID and Password you will need fourdigit OTP (One Time Pin) each time you log in to the BOP Mobile Banking app. The OTP will be sent to your Mobile number and email address simultaneously. OTP (one time PIN) adds a secondary layer of security to your mobile banking account. This 2 factor authentication ensures that your account can only accessed by you with the combination of User ID, Password and OTP. 1 Enter Your Login ID 4 Enter OTP 2 Enter Your Password One Time PIN (OTP) As the name implies, OTP can only be used once for login. Every time you login a new PIN is generated and sent to you. This OTP remains active only for 60 seconds and gets expired if not used 3 Tap Login 5 Tap OK
Understanding your Mobile Banking Application Once you are registered, you can perform various financial transactions like Funds Transfers, Bill Payments, View Account Balance, Deactivate your Debit Cards and even send feedback about your experience with Mobile Baking. OTP Secured Transactions All the financial transactions will require OTP (one time PIN) to complete. Just like log in, the OTP will be sent to your Mobile and Email Address. Without the correct OTP thefinancial transaction would not be completed Beneficiary Account and Biller Addition For all the funds transfers and Bill Payments you have to add a beneficiary account and the Biller through Add Beneficiary and Add Biller tab in Transfer and Bill Payments Menu respectively. The beneficiary and biller addition are also OTP secured just like your Log In and Financial Transactions. You can view your account balance and transaction history in My Accounts Menu Pay your all utility, mobile and internet bills through Bill Payments. That includes Prepaid Mobile Top-ups! View your Debit Card status and change the status of your card in Card Menu Have your Say! Transfer funds to your BOP or any other bank s account in Pakistan In Settings menu you can change your email address and deactivate your mobile banking account
1 Tap Logout Logging Out When you have finished using the app, you can tap Logout and your account will be logged out securely. In case you switch the app or leave the mobile banking app opened on your phone, your account will logged out automatically in 60 seconds of idle time. Important Note 2 Tap Yes Remember, if your phone is lost or stolen, contact us straight away on (042) 111 267 200 so that we can deactivate your BOP Mobile Banking account
