Login to the Business Online Banking Preview system using the new Company ID, existing user name (now User ID) and temporary password we emailed to you. Admins will need to create entitlements for their users before they can access the system. Familiarize yourself with the various Business Online Banking roles and capabilities of each user: Allow this user to setup templates. (This entitles the user to template setup capabilities for those services and accounts to which the user has been entitled.) Allow this user to approve transactions. (This entitles the user to transmit capabilities for those services to which the user has been entitled.) Grant this user administration privileges. (This allows the user to add, modify, copy and delete users, modify their roles, services and account access, rename accounts, and modify the number of approvers required for requests.) Paragon Bank recommends all users of the new Business Online Banking solution perform the following functions during the preview period: Login with your new credentials Setup your business online banking and your desired alerts Business Online Banking navigation: Administration Tab/ Communications/ Manage Alerts Verify service and account access, and report any discrepancies to your Company Administrator Verify ACH and Wire templates (if applicable to the user) Familiarize themselves with Business Online Banking by navigating through the system
HOW DO I LOGIN TO THE NEW BUSINESS ONLINE BANKING SYSTEM? During the two-week Preview and User Set-up Period of Business Online Banking you must take the following NEW LOGIN and ACCESS REQUIREMENT actions to access your accounts after the upgrade: Log into Business Online Banking during the Preview and User Set-Up Period, by taking the following steps: 1. Go to www.paragon Bank.com and select Business Online Banking --Preview from the dropdown box 2. Enter the new Company ID that was provided to you by email on October 9 on the login page 3. Enter your current USER ID (this did not change from Commerical Online) 4. Click Continue until the password page appears 5. Enter your temporary password that was provided to you by email on October 9 (For security reasons, your existing password will not be transferred to the new Business Online Banking System. You will be prompted to establish and confirm a new password) 6. Click Sign In the Advanced Authentication Page will appear 7. Click the continue with Security Code on the Advanced Authentication Page. 8. Select the preferred choice of contact (Telephone or Text). You will immediately receive a one-time security code. You will not be required to do this at each login, once your browser is registered. 9. Follow the prompts to enter the one-time security code 10. Log in and follow the prompts to change your password. CHOOSE A NEW PASSWORD ONE-TIME SECURITY CODE AUTHENTICATION Telephone Authentication If you select Telephone Authentication, you will receive an automated phone call that instructs you to enter the onetime security code displayed in the Enter the Security Code dialog box. Click Phone Call Completed to move forward to the Password screen. Password Requirements: Must be at least eight characters in length but no more than 12. Must include a combination of three of the four following types of characters: Upper case letter: A through Z Lower case letter: A through Z Number: 0 through 9 Special characters: @#$%^&*()_+=?/:;{}[] After you have successfully logged in to the system, online help is available in the upper right hand corner to assist with navigating the various system features A How Do I link is located on the top left of the screen. This link takes you to a step-by-step guide that is pertinent to the current page that you are on. Text Message Authentication If your mobile phone number is associated with your User ID you can select the Send Text Message button to receive your one time security code. Enter your mobile number in the field provided. Then, the security code will be sent to your mobile phone. Complete the process by entering the One-time 5-digit security code and Click Submit. Preview & User Set-Up Guide... continued WHAT IS THE WELCOME PAGE/DASHBOARD? The Welcome Page is the main interface for setting up your Dashboard view within the Business Online Banking solution. DASHBOARD SET UP The Dashboard setup tool is displayed when you log into Business Online Banking for the first time. The dashboard provides quick and easy access to and is customizable. When accessing Business Online Banking for the first time, you will see the Dashboard setup tool and the Dashboard panels on the Welcome page. The panels provide you about accounts, messages, and alerts. The dashboard panels that are available are determined by the entitlements of the user. Panels include: Balance Snapshot Important Account Balances Recent Transactions Shortcuts Calendar Next Scheduled Payments Payments and Transfers Template Approval You can customize the dashboard panels on the Welcome Page to show the you feel is important. Dashboard Quick Tips You can arrange the panels as you want to by clicking and dragging them to another location on the Welcome Page. To delete a panel, click the down arrow button in the top right corner of the panel window. Then, click Delete in this panel. MANAGING ALERTS You can manage the alerts you receive by clicking the appropriate links on the Received Mail and Alerts pages. You can also manage account related alerts, nonaccount related alerts and custom alerts by clicking the appropriate link. To access the manage alerts page, click Administration > Manage Alerts
