Infinity Cnnect Web App via Chrme Quick Guide Making a call We recmmend using a headset when using the Infinity Cnnect Web App. T make a call t a Virtual Meeting Rm r Virtual Auditrium, r t call anther persn directly: 1. Either: r Click n the link that was prvided by the cnference rganizer r yur system administratr. This link may autmatically prvide sme f the cnference infrmatin (such as the alias, and whether yu are a Hst r Guest). Yu will be prmpted t enter any remaining infrmatin nt prvided by the link. Open Ggle Chrme versin 27 r later. D ne f the fllwing in the address bar: Enter the link t the Infinity Cnnect hme page that was prvided by yur system administratr r the cnference rganizer. Enter the IP address r dmain name f yur nearest Cnferencing Nde r reverse prxy, fllwed by /webapp/. Fr example, if the dmain name f yur reverse prxy is rp.example.cm, yu wuld enter rp.example.cm/webapp/. Yu will be presented with the Infinity Cnnect Web App hme page. 2. In the Cnference Alias r URI field, enter the alias f the Virtual Meeting Rm r Virtual Auditrium yu wish t jin, r the address f the persn yu wish t call directly. 3. Enter Yur name. When yu jin the cnference, this name will be shwn in the rster n the left f the screen. (The rster shws the names f all, and appears in all Infinity Cnnect clients.) 4. Select Cnnect. If yu get an Invalid cnference message, this is mst likely because the Cnference Alias r URI text was entered incrrectly. 5. If the Virtual Meeting Rm r Virtual Auditrium is PIN-prtected, yu may be prmpted t select whether t jin as a Hst r Guest, r asked t enter an apprpriate PIN. At the cnference welcme screen, t jin the cnference as a full audi and vide (i.e. t see and hear ther, chat, share and view any shared cntent, and cntrl the cnference if yu are a Hst), select CAMERA and MICROPHONE nw. The first time yu cnnect t a particular Cnferencing Nde r dmain yu may see a message saying that the site wants t use yur camera and micrphne. Select Allw. 7. Select Cnnect. After a few mments yu will be cnnected t the cnference. Other jining ptins T jin the cnference with audi, presentatin and chat nly (i.e. t hear but nt see ther and have them hear but nt see yu; and t chat, share and view any shared cntent, and cntrl the cnference if yu are a Hst), at the cnference welcme screen select CAMERA and MICROPHONE nw. At the fllwing screen, frm the Bandwidth sectin select Audi nly and then select Cnnect. T jin the cnference with presentatin and chat nly (i.e. yu will nt see r hear ther and they will nt see r hear yu; but yu will be able t chat, share and view any shared cntent, and cntrl the cnference if yu are a Hst), at the cnference welcme screen select LATER. If yu want t change the amunt f bandwidth the call will use (fr example, if yu are wrking remtely r using a lwbandwidth cnnectin), after selecting yur camera and micrphne chse an apprpriate ptin frm the Bandwidth drpdwn menu. Drag and drp the file(s) yu want t share int the Infinity Cnnect windw. Yu can add multiple files, and they can be a cmbinatin f images and PDFs. Each image will be cnverted int an individual slide, as will each page f each PDF. 4. Select Share image r PDF and use the left < and right > cntrls at the tp f the screen t scrll thrugh the slides. 5. T stp sharing the slides, frm the tlbar select Stp presenting. The vide f yurself that is being sent t ther is shwn at the tp right f the screen. T hide this, select the Hide self view icn at the tp right f the image. It will be replaced by a small Shw self view icn; select this t view yur image again. Frm the tlbar at the bttm f the windw, select Keypad. When a starts a presentatin, yu will autmatically see the cntent they are sharing as yur main image, and the image f the will reduce t a small windw at the tp left crner. Yu can tggle between viewing the presentatin and viewing the by clicking n the small vide windw. View a presentatin at a higher (r lwer) refresh rate When a is shwing a presentatin, by default yu receive it as a series f still images. This is suitable fr dcuments and screens being shared, but if the presentatin cntains a lt f mvement it may appear jerky. If this is the case, yu can elect t receive the presentatin in full mtin. T d this, frm the bttm right f the screen select click View full mtin presentatin. T return t the default view, select View still image presentatin. View a list f ther cnference When using Infinity Cnnect, the left-hand side f the screen will display a list f all ther cnference. Yu can scrll thrugh this list, r use the search bx at the tp f the list, t view ther. Enabling screen sharing Enabling screen sharing Befre yu can use Infinity Cnnect via Ggle Chrme t share yur cmputer screen with ther cnference, yu must install the Pexip Screensharing Extensin. T dwnlad the extensin: 1. G t http://www.pexip.cm/extensin and click n the link prvided there. This will take yu t the Pexip Screensharing Extensin n the Chrme web stre. 2. Dwnlad the extensin by clicking n the buttn at the tp right f the page. The fllwing cnfirmatin will appear: 3. Select Add. Yu are nw ready t share yur screen. The first time that yu use Infinity Cnnect via Chrme t share yur screen frm a cnference hsted at a particular dmain, a cnfirmatin windw will appear: Select OK t cnfirm that yu want t share yur screen.
