Ortho 1.0, Connectivity Pack V1.0.0 & Dolphin 11.8 B22 Integration Basics 8-10-2015 Below is a short version of the steps required for standard setup of CEREC-Dolphin Integration. Keep in mind that this is the suggested ideal workflow. 1. Verify the Dolphin version that is installed. Note: It cannot be installed on the AC unit. If using version 11.8 B17, it is required to obtain a hotfix DLL file from Dolphin support to translate data. If using version 11.8 B22, the hotfix file is not needed. Note: the resulting models will be without the color texture/skin information from CEREC. The Patterson Technology Center does not install or troubleshoot Dolphin. Install the "Sirona Server" Application on the Dolphin PC Note: This must be installed on the Dolphin PC that is the server for the Dolphin software Note: Any additional PCs that have Dolphin as a workstation and part of the network do not need the Sirona Server software installed This software is part of the Dolphin Connectivity pack that a Patterson Tech would download from sironasupport.com and install when on site. Connectivity pack for Ortho 1.1 is not available as of 8-10-15 Allow the server to startup and look for dialog Sirona Registry Server Starting Wait for the dialog Server Running at ###.###.###.###:##### to display in the lower right of the screen when hovering over the S icon on the Dolphin PC. 3. Install "RequestScan Installer.exe on same Dolphin PC. This software is part of the Dolphin Connectivity pack that a Patterson Tech would download from sironasupport.com and install when on site Connectivity pack for Ortho 1.1 is not available as of 8-10-15 You can verify the software is installed in the Control Panel programs list. 4. CEREC AC with Omnicam must be connected to the same network as the Dolphin PC. Wireless or Wired is OK. A Patterson tech can assist when on site for Connectivity Pack install. 5. Verify the latest version of "CEREC Ortho SW" is installed on the CEREC AC Omnicam Note: Presently this is version 1.0. 6. Install Sirona Launcher Application on the CEREC AC Omnicam This software is part of the Dolphin Connectivity pack that a Patterson Tech would download from sironasupport.com and install when on site. Connectivity pack for Ortho 1.1 is not available as of 8-10-15 Connection can be verified by hovering over the S with the two small PCs. You will see Client running at ###.###.###.###:#####, services registered when there is a connection. Client running at ###.###.###.###:#####, services registered 7. You can restart the Sirona Launch Application, if it is not running and displaying the above icon, IP and port information. If not automatically started, go to C:/ProgramFiles/SironaDental.Systems/SironaLauncher/Sirona.Launcher.exe Wait for Dialog "Waiting for Sirona Registry Server. Wait for Dialog "Client Running at ###.###.###.###, services registered 8. Testing the Process Start Dolphin SW by selecting the icon from the desktop. Updated: 08.11.2015 2
Note the version we have at the PTC is a demo key and will display the following when opened Open the patient file or create a new patient. Note that patients already added are not displayed, but you can use the search options and Find Now. To add a patient, select New Patient. In this example, we searched for last name tester and this patient was already entered and we can now select OK Updated: 08.11.2015 3
Select OK, and the patent name should display in the top banner of the screen. Click 3D Icon in the left, side bar. Select CEREC Ortho Scanner from the 3D selection box. Updated: 08.11.2015 4
The Dolphin software will display Retrieving arch files from CEREC Ortho Scanner. CEREC Ortho SW will now open on the AC Omnicam. Note: When it opens, the patient s name listed will be listed at the top of the screen and be ready for imaging. Perform file scanning, lower, upper and buccal. Then arrow forward. Note: If only one arch is imaged, you will not get an arrow forward option. You can proceed by clicking Model in the phase bar. Updated: 08.11.2015 5

Transmission will now begin and then display Transfer succeeded. You can then click OK. Error Notice: Transfer Aborted. We have seen this notice during transfer. If you wait a few minutes and leave the notice on the screen, the file should still transfer over to Dolphin. Sirona states will be fixed in the next release. Updated: 08.11.2015 7
