Regular Polygon Area of a Regular Polygon Step 1: Find the center of the polygon Step 2: Draw segments to all vertices from center of polygon Step 3: Calculate the central angles by dividing 360 by the number of sides: 360 n. Step 4: Draw in the altitude and divide the central angle by half for new top angle. Step 5: Divide side length in half. Step 6: Use a trig ratio to find the altitude.
