1. Overview This is a simple, easy-to-use web based Self Password Management portal. Active Directory (AD)/E-Mail password reset service request will be processed automatically and almost instantly, this will eliminate the dependency of placing the request to ICT helpdesk and wait until the request is processed. To make use of this portal it is mandatory to complete one time user registration process by setting up security question/ answer & official mobile number. 2. User Registration process User need to login with the AD/E-mail credentials and complete the one time registration process by setting up security question/ answer & official mobile number. To complete the registration process follow the below given Steps. Step 1: User Login Login to AD password management Portal (http://rmp.issindia.in ) to complete the registration process using your existing AD/E-mail login credentials (without using @in.issworld.com ). RMP stands for Reset My Password. Fig 1 Page 3 of 14
Step 2: Registration Form After successful login, It is mandatory to fill Registration Form i.e. Profile as shown in below fig2. First Name, Last Name, Office, Designation, Company & Department are read-only fields. Select the Country info from the dropdown (India, Thailand etc.) for official mobile number updation. Depending on Country Information selected, automatically ISD code will be displayed (+91, +1). Official Mobile number should be entered by user. User should update the security questions & answers accordingly Note: User can change the mobile number 5 times in a year. Fig 2 Click on Submit button to update the records. User will receive 4 digit OTP (One-Time-Password) on the registered mobile as a confirmation. Fig 3 Page 4 of 14
Enter the OTP received on registered mobile. Click on the update button to complete the registration process Fig 4 User will be notified by below confirmation message that the process is complete. Fig 5 3. Change Password Process This is an easy two-step process whenever users need to change Active directory password. User should login with Current Active Directory (User - Name) login & change the password through portal. Change Password Form User will have to login with his Username, Current Password Page 5 of 14
Fig 6 After successful login, Profile Page will be displayed. Fig 7 All other tabs will not be functional except Change Password & Secret Question/Answer tab. User will have to click on Password Tab Page 6 of 14
Fig 8 Enter Current Password in Old Password text box. Enter New Password in New Password text box. Re-Enter New Password in Confirm Password text box. Click on Submit button. Below message will be display and the process will be completed. Fig 11 4. Reset/ Forgot Password process If user has forgotten his current password or password gets expired, the same can be reset by clicking on Forgot Password tab on the password management portal (provided the user had already enrolled as per User Registration Process ) User will also get an Auto-Notification e-mail, 5/7 days prior to his/her password expiry. With the help of this Module, user can reset the password by answering the pre-set security question without any ICT assistance. Below is detailed Password Reset process. Page 8 of 14
Forgot Password Form Click on Forgot Password TAB Fig 12 Enter username, select your security questions and enter the answers respectively. Fig 13 Click on Submit button to reset your password in AD Server. Page 9 of 14
One Time Random (temporary) Password will be sent on registered mobile number. NOTE: User will receive SMS as shown below: Fig 14 User will have to login with his/her Username & Random (temporary) Password received on registered Mobile No. As soon as the user logs-in, the portal will prompt user to change the password at first login. Fig 15 User will be auto-redirected to Change Password Screen. Enter the random (temporary) Password Received on Registered Mobile in the Old Password field and set the desired new Password as per company password Policy. Page 10 of 14

User will receive Message Password Changed Successfully. Fig 19 5. Mobile Number Change Process In case if user wants to change/update the registered official mobile number, please follow below steps: Mobile Number Change process For Changing/Updating the official mobile number, login to the portal and click on the Update contact number Button. After clicking on Update button; a pop-up window will appear where user have to enter the new Mobile Number. Select the Country info from the dropdown (India, USA etc.). Depending on Country Information selected, automatically ISD code will be seen (+91, +1). Mobile No should be entered by user. Fig 20 After entering new mobile number, click on Submit. Note: - User can change the mobile number only 5 times in a year. User can update their security questions and answers anytime. 6. User Account Unlock Process In case the AD/E-mail account is locked due to multiple wrong password, then same can be unlocked by clicking on Unlock tab on the RMP portal (provided the user had already enrolled as per User Registration Process ) Account Unlock Process Click on Unlock TAB Fig 21 Enter username, select your security questions and enter the answers respectively.
