14 Revit New3D Building InformationModels Ledalite has always been committed to market driven innovation. We are pleased to announce that we are expanding our downloadable resources by constructing a Revit model library, starting with Float. Other Revit models for luminaire families will be added over time. Like Auto CAD, Revit is a design tool made by software publisher Auto desk. It is fast becoming the standard for design and construction professionals using Building Information Modeling or, BIM, software. Ultimately, Revit enables faster decision making, better documentation, and the ability to evaluate sustainable building and infrastructure design alternatives using analysis to predict performance before ever breaking ground. Revit models can be found in the Downloads section of the Float webpage. Revit offers architects and engineers a new way of working collaboratively using three dimensional product models created from consistent, reliable design information embedded with all relevant specification and performance details. This way, comprehensive design proposals can be created in record time with design freedom and efficient delivery. Ideas can be reviewed with fully rendered 3D scenes and fly throughs.
