2 PRESENTATION You can choose between two types of virtual windows: Our windows WinACTIV are interactive and adjust the displayed view to your position in front of the screen like an actual window. Our windows WinCLASSIC are identical to the WinACTIV windows without being interactive. WinKIT product allows you to transform any screen into an interactive virtual window. There are three different content options for our windows WinACTIV and WinCLASSIC: 1) Autonomous mode by displaying pre-recorded videos: Every window is provided with at least 6 hours of 4K videos to which you can add yours. This option is mostly used to create an ambiance by displaying landscapes corresponding to the desired atmosphere. 2) With a local camera: the window displays a view of the outside of the building. In this case, we provide you with a window and a high quality 4K camera. The camera shall be installed on top of the building without any object in the foreground at less than 10-20m in order to avoid any parallax effect when moving in front of the window. There shall be a wired connection between the camera and the window, either with an Ethernet cable going directly from the camera to the window or with an Ethernet cable from the camera to a switch. A wireless connection between the switch and the window is possible provided that you have a WiFi speed of at least 20 Mbps between the window and the switch. The view of one camera can be displayed on several windows at the same time. 3) With a remote webcam: the window displays a view of the place of your choice. Our first webcams will be available before the end of the year These specific webcams are of a very high quality as we use high end 4K webcams with a low video compression in order to guarantee an excellent 4K picture. To connect you to a webcam, it is necessary to connect the window to a switch (Ethernet or WiFi) which shall have a high speed internet connection with a download speed of more than 30 Mbps: fiber-optic, cable, but not ADSL (the average speed is 12 Mbps). The windows that we are selling now are already compatible with a connection to any future webcam. Our windows can be wall mounted like a television with a VESA bracket. They have to be connected to a 110V/220V power supply which has to be placed behind the window (in order to hide cables) or nearby with a 2m long power supply cable. The window can also be integrated into the wall which requires a 15 cm deep hole in the wall. Our windows include a HDMI input and can be used as a monitor or as a television. Also, you can choose different options: safety glass, sound bar, etc. The windows turn on and off automatically, either with a motion sensor or according to a scheduled time. Version: C Page 2/12

3 INSTALLATION All Wintual products can be configured via WiFi by any PC/Mac/tablet/smartphone. The product will automatically send a configuration web page to your usual web browser: no need to install any application. The products WinCLASSIC, Win ACTIV and Win3D are designed to be wall mounted thanks to a provided VESA wall bracket (plate with four holes): The installation of the local camera can be made by one of our approved installers or by yourself. When installing the outside camera the following requirements have to be respected: 1) Installation on horizontal plane 2) If possible, no object in the foreground at less than m (building, tree ) 3) Connection with an Ethernet cable Category 6 to have a bandwidth of at least 100 Mbit/s 4) PoE 13 W 48V (standard IEEE 802.3af/802.3at Type 1 Class 3) 5) According to French regulations, the camera has to be installed in a way that people in public areas cannot be identified: under this condition, no authorization is needed. 4 MODELS Window WinACTIV The virtual window WinACTIV displays a landscape with the same angle of view as an actual window. The angle of view changes according to your position like for a real window. Vieux Port of Marseille, France 00:30h WinACTIV can be connected to a local camera (ref CAM-UHD-FX-xx) in order to display a landscape filmed outside the building. If users generally stand more than 2m away from the window, it is possible to use an HD screen instead of a UHD screen. The camera is remotely powered with PoE. If the camera is not connected to a switch providing PoE, you have to take a power supply PoE kit connected to V mains at the switch location (if there is one) or at the window location (if there is no switch). 5 Window WinCLASSIC The window WinCLASSIC is identical to the window WinACTIV except that the display is fixed and is not adjusted to the viewer s position. Would you choose a screen with a full HD resolution, you can then take a full HD camera instead of UHD. This camera will be powered in the same way as the UHD camera.
