2 EX-Z50 Feature Index FAST Direct On-Function and Quick Start-up An instant: In only approx. 1.6 second, your camera is ready too shoot with one click. While other cameras are still extending their lenses, you are already making the best snap shots thanks to Direct On and Quick Start-up. Another practical aspect: Direct On-Play. A quick click immediately displays the image preview. Quick Response too late okay How fast is really fast? The EXILIM Zoom EX- Z50 has a shutter speed of 0.01 second after succesful focussing. Which means there is little that is fast enough to escape you! Speed-Up Mode Search and find: To look for a particular picture or a video recording can sometimes take a while, especially if you have saved hundreds of recordings. The Speed-Up mode saves you time when searching: It "browses" through ten pictures per second, which corresponds to a screen change of only 0.1 second. Auto Pan Focus Keep at it: For fast-moving motives, the autofocus of the camera must be set anew again and again. That takes time and can cause delay when you click on the button. Therefore, the Auto Pan-Focus switches off the Autofocus, if the release button is immediately pushed through completely. There is now just 0.01 seconds between the click of the release button and the beginning of the taking of the picture. Auto macro-focus Automatic: Changing between the normal focus and the macro range is really fast - with the Auto Macro function. The macro region, i.e. the close-up region of the EX-Z50, comprises distances between 6cm and 50cm. Before each photo, the camera measures the distance to the motif and automatically sets the right focal range. 3 INNOVATIVE 5 Megapixel CCD Sensor This you can see: The new, ultra high resolution CCD Chip of the EXILIM Zoom EX-Z50 gives you over 5 million pixels of full brilliant colors and sharpness. As a result, it is possible to make printouts also on large sizes of photo paper in excellent quality. High resolution quality for different needs, from beginners to professionals. Triple Stack-MCM Complex: In a digital camera, just as in a computer, there is a processor. It is connected to other electronical components, such as a buffer memory. With the Stack- MCM technology, CASIO has found a way to construct these important components in an extremely flat design and to "stack" them on top of each other on a chip. In the EXILIM Zoom EX-Z50, a chip operates with three layers of complete high tech. In this way space and energy are saved for more professional features and reliable battery power. Pentax 3x-Zoom Lens Up close: The Pentax quality lens allows 3x optical zoom. For high resolution pictures that are simply closer to the object. Flash Assist-function SUPER LIFE-Battery Extreme power: Empty batteries are a thing of the past. The EXILIM Zoom EX-Z50 works with less energy due to new technology and also has a new, extremely powerful SUPER LIFE- Battery. With that much power, the camera is ready at the right moment and takes up to 390 pictures nonstop. (according to CIPA Standard) Movie-Function Eye witness: Many Digital Cameras limit the video recording to 60 seconds. There is no time limit set for the EXILIM Zoom EX-Z50. For example, 6 minutes and 40 seconds of outstanding recording set to sound fits in an empty 128 MB memory card - irreplaceable, if you need to document something more than photos. RGB-histogram Colour control: The RGB-histogram displays the fractions of red, green and blue. So you have an overview of the colour components in your picture and can correct if required, by adjusting the diaphragm or using colour filters. The RGB-histogram is in addition to the blackand-white histogram, with which you can control the light/dark contrast of a motif. Problem recognised: For flash photos, the bakkground often remains too dark and the motif is not fully illuminated. The solution: Flash Assist. For each day that you have taken a picture, a photo is displayed as an example. In this way you can find pictures more easily or you can make a photo diary. Re-Size/Trimming Custom-made: With Re- Size/Trimming you can change the size of the picture already in the camera and sections of a picture can be saved as its own shot. Favorites Only the best: You can save your best pictures as personal favorites on the internal memory of the camera and find them quickly again at any time. Album Own website: Your camera automatically creates an internet page with your personal photo album. There, you can comfortably "surf" through your pictures on the computer. Put this page on the Internet, in order to make it accessible for friends and relatives. Especially practical, if you've taken pictures at parties or events and would like to show the results. Recording Modes Alarm Drive: You have the choice of these five possibilities: single picture, sound recording, single picture with sound recording, movie or BESTS- HOT. Comfortable operation allows you to change between these photo modes at lightning speed: First create a short video, then send a photo with a message in sound by - no problem with the EXILIM Zoom EX-Z50.
