3 Day/Night CCD Camera Steel-Cam The Day/Night CCD camera (Steel-Cam) is a high quality camera operating in the range from visible light to near infrared. The camera has a zoom ratio of 30X, and a focus range from 1.8 m to infinity. The 3-point mechanical interface system gives a robust and precise mounting with the possibility of easy boresighting of the camera. Steel-Cam is excellent in the main sight role due to the high zoom ratio and the line of sight stability. Day/Night CCD camera mounted on a Remote Weapon Station The camera is fully qualified, meeting all relevant military specifications. The Steel-Cam is used as the main sight and observation unit on the Protetctor Remote Weapon Station, in use by the US Army and others. Ev-3000 It is designed to fulfil a requirement for a low maintenance, powerful, yet relatively light, camera system which provides colour imagery by day and intensified monochrome images by night. During the day a high resolution colour CCD imager is behind the zoom lens. As darkness falls, the colour imager is switched out and an intensified monochrome CCD sensor is automatically switched into the optical path making the system into a highly sensitive night vision camera.
