2 Power Series Camera Support Equipment Assembly Manual Remark: Before assemble the jib, please check the inventory and read this manual carefully A. Equipment List: Power Jib can be purchased with different option like Column and Dolly, subject to the equipment you buy. a. 4 B. Feature: Power Jib - The payload of Power Jib is 18 ~ 20Kg, suitable for most of professional portable cameras. The camera fitting bowl is standard 100mm, fit most of Pan and Tilt Head supplied by customer. The mounting bowl of Power Jib designed to fit regular Tripod (Fig. 1) or PC Column (Fig. 2). The Jib arm can fold and extend. When folded for transport, only 80cm long. During operation, the front section can be extended from 95 to 150cm. Rear section can adjust between 30 ~ 45cm for perfect balance. (Fig. 1) PC Column and Four Wheels Dolly You can use the Column and Dolly without the Power Jib (Fig. 3). The height adjustable Column can hold up to 100Kg, continuous adjust range between 90 ~ 150cm (Fig. 4). The Column come with standard 100mm Bowl for standard Pan and Tilt head or Power Jib. It fits on the Dolly with payload over 200Kg. The Dolly includes Swivel Seat for cameraman and Platform for assistant. When fitted on the 12.5m long Flexible Track, thanks for the Swivel Wheel design, the track do not need perfect parallel or straight and can track along freely with the Push Bar to suit most of the shooting requirement, you can also use two tracks in parallel to increase the length. (Fig. 2) (Fig. 4) (Fig. 3) C. Assembly Instruction: a. Assembly the Power Dolly: * If you do not purchase the Power Dolly, skip this section. Page 3 1. Put the Four Wheel Dolly Base (9) on the ground 2. Slide the Swivel (10a) and Fixed (10b) Wheels into the wheel arms 3. Please note the order of the wheels 4. Put the Column Base (8) on top of the Dolly Base (9) 5. Fit the Swivel Mechanism (11c) into the swivel ring of Column Base 6. Fit the Support Rod (11b) and the Seat (11a) then lock it with the spring lock 7. Use the Safety Shaft (11d) to secure the Seat (11a) 8. Fit the Push Bar (12a) and Handle (12b) 9. All screws can use the supplied Allen Key Set (14) to lock them tight

Assembly the Power Column: * If you do not purchase the Power Column, skip this section. 1. Fit the PC Column (6) on the Column Base (8) and lock the nuts 2. The Bowl Adapter (7) should be in place already 3. Adjust the column height with the handle on bottom 4. Now you ready to assemble the Power Jib 5. Please note that when you fit the Dolly onto the Flexible Track (15) make sure the Swivel Wheels (10a) should be on the same side of the track and the Fixed Wheels (10b) should be on other side c. Assembly the Power Jib (Fig. 6): 1. Take everything from the Soft Bag 2. Fit the folded Jib Arm assembly on Column (Fig. 1) or Tripod (Fig. 2) with 100mm Bowl 3. Put the Jib Base (a) on Bowl and fixed by Tie Down Assembly (4) - Fit the Threaded Rod (4b) on to the Jib base - Fit the Washer (4c) first and lock the Jib with the Knob (4a) 4. Loose the Through-Shaft (b) with Knob and Weight Shaft (2) 5. Loose the Jib Lock (c) and rotate the Jib Arm Assembly (1) Fold the Secondary Arm (d) with T-Shape End towards outside 7. Fit the T-Shape End of Secondary Arm (d) into the base with hole (g) 8. Secure the T-Shape End by the Through-Shaft (a) and Knob 9. Now the Camera Plate (e) with Bowl Adaptor should upward on outside Page 4

Now the Jib should looks like Fig Then loose all Spring Locks (f) 12. Slide the Front and Rear Arm then fit the Weight Shaft onto the Rear Arm 13. Make the Jib horizontal and lock Jib Lock (c) hand tight 14. 7 d. Install the Pan Tilt Head and Camera : (Fig. 8) 1. Adjust the length of Secondary Arm and watch the bubble on Camera Plate for Leveling 2. Fit one each 2.5Kg Counter Weight (16) on both side of the Weight Shaft (2) first 3. Fit the Pan Tilt Head on the Camera Plate (e) and lock it hand tight, watch the leveling bubble 4. Now you can put more Counter Weights (16) on to the Weight Shaft (2) 5. Then fit the Camera and Zoom Control if you have onto Pan Tilt Head as normal 6. Loose the Jib Lock and fit more Counter Weights (16) until the Jib roughly balance 7. Adjust the last section of the Rear Arm for Fully Balance 8. Adjust the friction use the round knobs on front arm and Jib Lock (c) on base for proper drag Drag Fig. 8 Fig. 9 Notes on choose and use the Pan Tilt Head: It is always better to use Pan Tilt with Counter Balance like Vinten Vision Series Fit all accessories like pan bar, Camera Cable and Zoom Control before adjust counter balance You only need to fit one pan bar onto the head Please check the leveling bubble before Operate the camera e. Install the Zoom Remote (Fig. 9): * If you do not purchase the Zoom Remote, skip this section. 1. loose the clamp until one side is out of the long screw 2. Fit the Zoom Remote onto the Pan Bar and connect the cable to lens 3. Please switch off the camera power before connect the cable 4. You may need adapter cable for different brand of lenses Now the Power Jib is ready for your camera work!!! Page 6
