It is an ideal lodspeaker colmn where sond beaming is reqired, for both indoor and otdoor se in passenger terminals, places of worship, conference venes, theme parks, swimming pools, factories, exhibition areas. A swivel wall monting bracket is spplied as standard, allowing accrate positioning. Fnctions Voice alarm Voice alarm lodspeakers are specifically designed for se in applications, where the performance of PA systems is sbject to official reglations. The LA1- UM2E-1 and LA1-UM4E-1 are designed for voice alarm systems. Protection Both lodspeaker colmns have bilt in protection to ensre that in the event of a fire damage does not case failre of the connected circit. In this way, system integrity is maintained; ensring lodspeakers in other areas can still be sed to inform people of the sitation. Connections and safety The lodspeaker colmns have a ceramic terminal block, thermal fse, and heat-resistant, hightemperatre wiring. The colmn has a provision for internally monting the optional line/lodspeaker spervision board. Lodspeaker otpt power setting For primary taps are provided on the bilt in matching transformer. Lodspeaker otpt power setting is done on the bild-in transformer and connected to a rotary vary tap switch located in the back of the enclosre to allow simple otpt power setting. An 8 ohms setting is also provided on the rotary vary tap switch. Certifications and approvals All Bosch lodspeakers are designed to withstand operating at their rated power for 1 hors in accordance with IEC 268 Power Handling Capacity (PHC) standards. Bosch has also developed the Simlated Acostical Feedback Exposre (SAFE) test to demonstrate that the speakers can withstand two

This ensres extra reliability nder extreme conditions, leading to greater cstomer satisfaction, longer operating life, and mch less chance of failre or performance deterioration. The bracket is attached on a slider, which can be placed and secred in any desired position along the rear of the enclosre. Standard spplied with 1 m connection cable, bt these can be replaced dring installation with any other type of connection cable. The connection cable is fed ot throgh a cable gland (PG 2) in the top rear of the enclosre. For loop throgh connection, a second hole (covered as standard spplied) is provided.
