In particular, users of certain Bosch devices will want to adopt this release for the stability improvements provided. 2 Version Released Friday July 25th, 2014 Release Summary This release of Avigilon Control Center introduces a few new features, most notably integration of the Avigilon Rialto analytics appliance. Users who want this new functionality should adopt this release. This release is also a service release for ACC 5. Users experiencing issues listed in the list (including, for example, the interrupted export issue) should adopt this release. Any users with many clients working over a network with many manually discovered sites should also adopt this release, as the last item listed (improvements to handle higher TCP loads) is likely to have a significant positive impact on the stability and performance of their site. 3 Version (Continued) Known issues in this release ACC x (and earlier) clients will crash when attempting to display a notification message from a rule on an Analytics event with a default message from an ACC server. In environments with Rialto devices where older clients are expected, the crash can be prevented by configuring a custom message for this rule. The permanent resolution is to upgrade the older clients to or later. Under some conditions, streams from Rialto devices may stop displaying boxes around objects of interest. This results from deviation between timestamps in the device and the server and can be resolved by restarting the Rialto device. As a side-effect of this change, text (such as camera name and location) in the overlay may apear slightly blurry but remains readable; this cosmetic issue will be corrected in a future release.
