2 Mission Consistent with the mission of the IMCUSA, the mission of IMCNJ is to promote excellence and ethics in management consulting through certification, education and professional resources. IMCNJ supports certification for individual management consultants in the US that conforms to the international standards of the International Council of Management Consulting Institutes.

6 About IMC NJ IMCNJ is the leading association of professional management consultants in New Jersey. IMCNJ provides members with valuable professional development programs and networking opportunities. IMCNJ creates the environment for consultants to share practice management experiences, discuss emerging issues, learn new skills, discover and explore opportunities to develop alliances with other consultants, and contribute to profession of consulting. Our members are consultants living in the NJ/NY/PA region that represent many disciplines of consulting and practice in a wide range of industries in the private, public, and not-forprofit sectors.

8 Membership Professional Member is a practicing management consultant, or a potential management consultant, who agrees to subscribe to the IMC An Affiliate Member this category of membership is for those who are not practicing management consultants, or who have not yet reached the criteria for Professional Membership but wish to provide services or sell services or products to consultants.

9 Membership A Student Member is a full-time college or university student who has an interest in management consulting and supports the objectives of the Institute. A Certified Member is a CMC who is in good standing and has demonstrated competence and understanding in a range of consulting situations against an agreed standard and has agreed to abide by the IMC USA Code of Ethics.

16 Certification - CMC The CMC certification is awarded by IMC USA to those consultants who have met global standards of professionalism that include exemplary technical and consulting competencies, ethics knowledge and application, client and project management skills and professional and personal conduct. 17 Certification - CMC & ISO Accreditation IMC USA is the only U.S. entity to provide certification for individual management consultants and management consulting firms (CMC Firm ) which conforms to the international standards of the International Council of Management Consulting Institutes. The ICMCI sets the global standards for consulting competence and professional conduct for consultants and firms in more than 47 nations; and therefore, CMCs are eligible for reciprocity in all 47 countries. There are 10,000 CMCs worldwide.
