EP Training has updated all CPC courses to reflect syllabus changes and can offer customers a choice of how to study. Intensive National & International CPC Courses National and International Combined CPC Qualification EP Training delivers 9/10 day intensive courses to coincide with OCR examination dates. Training is over a 2 week period with the final day being the examination. 4 CPC Distance Learning Packs The distance learning packs are written based on the OCR examination syllabus (one multi choice and one case study) and contain self assessment questions at the end of each subject. Notes are updated to reflect legislation and syllabus and at the end of each examination. Also, as part of our CPC tutoring services, we offer free telephone support, in case you need any assistance while working through your notes. 5 Examination Syllabus The National and International Freight Syllabus covers the following subjects: Civil law Commercial law Social law Fiscal law Business and financial management of the undertaking Access to the market Technical standards and technical aspects of operation Road safety To gain your CPC you must pass the relevant CPC examinations. They are conducted 4 times per year at approved OCR examination centre. The national and intenational combined exam will be in the form of a multi choice and case study exam. 6 Multi choice The multiple choice element will be assessed by one OCR set and marked timetabled assessment consisting of 60 multiple choice questions (and thus 60 marks) In order to pass this unit, candidates must achieve a score of at least 70% across the paper. This paper will test knowledge of both national and international elements of the syllabus. Case study This paper will test applications of knowledge of both national and international elements of the syllabus. There will be between five and eight questions. Each question will be worth between seven and twelve marks; there are 60 marks available in the case study paper. In order to pass this unit, candidates must achieve a score of at least 50% of the marks available across the paper.
