Single-core processors can only process one instruction at a time. Multiple-core processors (CPUs) imply a processing system composed of two or more independent cores. Processing cores can be physical or virtual depending on whether the processor holding the cores is embedded in a physical machine or a virtual machine. means a scenario that is a specific customization/implementation that aims at managing a pattern of alarms (type of alarms). The scenario provides the overall behavior processing of a group of identified alarms linked to the same problem. A scenario can be considered simple or complex depending on the processing required. means central processing unit (CPU) also referred to as processor. It is a system that contains a single central processing unit with a single integrated circuit package with one or more discrete processing cores. means a non-production system which has the HPE Products installed, and is concurrently running some or all of the product s processes for the purpose of a) developing add-on applications; b) migration testing; c) pre-production staging; d) version upgrades/configurations and transition purposes means an addressable entity including but not limited to router, switch, bridge, hub, physical computer, PC, laptop, handheld device or printer that resides within the range defined for interrogation and asset tracking. means a user that is editing or designing views. means products which are electronically delivered only, and as such any reference to FOB Destination or delivery methods that are stated on your purchase order other than electronic shall be null and void with respect to these E-LTU or E-Media products. means the level of complexity used for CEA Collectors integrating performance information via CSV files means products which are electronically delivered only and as such any references to FOB Destination or delivery method that are stated in Licensee s purchase order other than electronic shall be null and void with respect to these E-RTU or E- Media products. means a system which is up and running, ready to take over from the Production system if the Production system breaks down or needs to be taken out of service. means each implementation of the application (either Production, either non-production) means each implementation of the application installed on a Server. means Key Performance Indicator. KPI is normally in numeric form and provides the service provider an overview of the quality and performance of its network resources and services. Licensee is the end user individual or entity who has acquired the rights to use the software per a valid purchase order and which is subject to the End User License Agreement and this ALA means License To Use. License to Use is used when a license key is required to enable product use. means intermediate level of features for TeMIP mediation components (Access Modules or open mediation), UCA value packs, UTM collectors and populators, Performance Manager value packs. 2

Right to Use is used when there is no license key required to enable product use. means any Physical or Virtual Machine on which one or more Instances of the Software is installed. means core feature for TeMIP mediation components (Access Modules or open mediation prepack), problem detection value pack, UTM collectors, Performance Manager value packs. means the level of complexity of CEA Collectors integrating User profiling information (mapping MSISDN-Dataplan files, LDAP/LDIF) means a distinct article in a Service Level Agreement (SLA) that is defined for a particular metric with a particular service level for a given service and customer. For ex. 4 Software specific license terms Software products with software specific license terms are described below. HPE vtemip Editions offerings HPE vtemip Community Edition HPE vtemip Standard Edition HPE vtemip Suite Cloud Edition Foundation The vtemip Community Edition provides the following vtemip functionalities: vtemip Framework, vtemip Alarm Handling, vtemip Resynchronization, vtemip Universal Notifier (TUN), vtemip Network Data Loader (TNDL), Visual TeMIP and TAL Toolkit, TAL Client, vtemip Web Services NBI. The vtemip Community Edition is licensed for a single virtual Core (vcore) Community Edition is restricted from use in a Production environment (it can only be used in a Non-Production environment) A one year license term is delivered from date of initial installation. After expiration of the license the software should be removed. For technology mediation only 1 (one) syslog Access Module is included. No off the shelf Adapters are included and off the shelf Adapters cannot be purchased to run with the Community Edition environment The alarm monitoring GUI provided allows a maximum of two Unified OSS Console users for alarm processing and visualization (Alarm Table multiple tabs and Unified Correlation Automation view). No topology or topology views available with alarm correlation. Documentation for installation and setup of the environment with collection and system maintenance are included. No support or bug fix is provided. Each HPE vtemip Standard Edition is licensed per a single Core. The number of licenses to be purchased depends on the production environment sizing. Each Production license entitles the Licensee to one equivalent Non-Production environment (same capacity). Where customers require additional Non-Production licenses, individual Non-Production component licenses should be purchased. The license provides the TeMIP Framework distribution functionality. The vtemip Standard Edition based solution is a set of vtemip directors; each director can be deployed on a single Server. The license does not provide the vtemip Cloud enablement functionality. The vtemip Standard Edition provides the following extra vtemip functionalities: vtemip Framework, vtemip Alarm Handling, vtemip Resynchronization, vtemip Universal Notifier (TUN), vtemip Network Data Loader (TNDL), Visual TeMIP and TAL Toolkit, TAL Client, vtemip Web Services NBI. Additional licenses are required: HPE OSS Assurance Adapters, HPE UOC Suite products. The following licenses are optional: HPE UCA Suite of products, HPE FAS (Fault Analytics and Statistics, Verticaᵠ or Hadoop Cloudera are pre-requisites and must be purchased separately), HPE vtemip Suite Cloud Upgrade from vtemip Standard. The HPE vtemip Suite Cloud Edition Foundation is a bundle of multiple components with distinct licenses for each component: vtemip licensed for 24 Cores, UCA licensed for 16 Cores including: o HPE Unified Correlation Automation for Event Based Correlation core product, o HPE Unified Correlation Automation for Event Based Correlation Graph Database Extension, o HPE Unified Correlation Automation for Automation Foundation, o HPE Unified Correlation Automation Problem Detection Value Pack, o HPE Unified Correlation Automation Topology State Propagator Value Pack, o HPE Unified Topology Manager reconciliation, UOC licensed for 15 concurrent Users, 1 Off The Shelf HPE vtemip NNMi integration (one Micro Focus Nnmᵠ version/os), 1 Off The Shelf HPE UCA/vTeMIP Trouble Ticket integration, 5 Off The Shelf HPE OSS Assurance Adapters, (OSI Adapters for vtemip are excluded and must be purchased separately) 1 HPE Unified Topology Manager Colllector, 1 HPE Unified Topology Manager simple populator, 1 HPE Unified Topology Manager complex populator. 4

5 The vtemip Licenses included in the HPE vtemip Suite Cloud Edition Foundation provide additional functionalities on top of HPE vtemip Standard Edition functionalities: Cloud enablement (scale-in/out, Alarm Handling load balancing), vtemip built-in High-Availability, vtemip built-in disaster recovery (pre-requisite: highly performant connections between remote data centers). HPE vtemip Extension for vtemip Suite Cloud Foundation HPE vtemip 3 month term capacity extension for vtemip Suite Cloud Foundation For a HPE vtemip Suite Cloud Edition based Solution, Distributed File System infrastructure / Softwaredefined Storage (DFS/SDS) is a pre-requisite. The supported 3 rd party product/version is specified in the product documentation Only one HPE vtemip Suite Cloud Edition Foundation license is authorized per Production Solution. This Production license entitles the Licensee to one equivalent Non-Production environment (same capacity). Where customers require additional Non-Production licenses, individual Non-Production component licenses should be purchased. The following licenses are optional: HPE vtemip Extension for vtemip Suite Cloud Foundation, HPE UCA Extension for vtemip Suite Cloud Foundation, HPE OSS Assurance Adapters, HPE UOC Suite products, HPE FAS (Fault Analytics and Statistics, Verticaᵠ or Hadoop Cloudera are pre-requisites and must be purchased separately). Each HPE vtemip Extension for vtemip Suite Cloud Foundation Edition is licensed for 8 Cores. The license provides for the same functionalities as the vtemip Licenses included in the HPE vtemip Suite Cloud Edition Foundation At the time of purchase, the pre-requisite is the following: Have already purchased the HPE vtemip Suite Cloud Edition Foundation, or Have already purchased a minimum of 24 HPE vtemip Standard Edition licenses plus 24 HPE vtemip Suite Cloud Upgrade from vtemip Standard licenses Each HPE vtemip Capacity Extension 3 month Term License for vtemip Suite Cloud Foundation Edition is licensed for 8 Cores (This is not a perpetual license) This limited term license provides for the same functionalities as the vtemip Licenses included in the HPE vtemip Suite Cloud Edition Foundation but it only gives rights for the 3 month term of the License and it is intended as a short term capacity extension. HPE vtemip Suite Cloud Upgrade from vtemip Standard HPE vtemip Suite Ultimate Edition HPE vtemip Fault Adapter Migration At the time of purchase, the pre-requisite is the following: Have already purchased the HPE vtemip Suite Cloud Edition Foundation, or Have already purchased a minimum of 24 HPE vtemip Standard Edition licenses plus 24 HPE vtemip Suite Cloud Upgrade from vtemip Standard licenses Each HPE vtemip Suite Cloud Upgrade from vtemip Standard Edition is licensed for a single (1) Core. This product allows to upgrade a HPE vtemip Standard Edition based Solution to a HPE vtemip Suite Cloud Edition based Solution. This upgrade is authorized only if the number of vtemip cores of the HPE vtemip Standard Edition based Solution is greater than 24, one Cloud Upgrade license per owned HPE vtemip Standard Edition license is purchased. The resulting license rights are equivalent to the rights of one vtemip Suite Cloud Edition Foundation license plus the extra equivalent vtemip Extension for vtemip Suite Cloud Foundation license(s). The HPE vtemip Suite Ultimate Foundation is a Limited Term License consisting of multiple components with unlimited license usage for each component for a defined period (1 or 3 years). (This is not a perpetual license.) The components enabled for the defined Term are: HPE vtemip, HPE UCA, HPE UOC, HPE FAS (Fault Analytics and Statistics, Verticaᵠ or Hadoop Cloudera are pre-requisites and must be purchased separately), Off The Shelf HPE OSS Assurance Adapters. (OSI Adapters for vtemip are excluded and must be purchased separately) Once the license expires the system is shut down (unless a new Limited Term License is purchased). The license is valid for one Production Solution and any number of possible associated Non-Production environments. HPE CMS 24 x 7 Standard Support is included for all of the software enabled for the Limited Term of the License. 1 HPE vtemip Fault Adapter Migration is licensed per 1 supported TeMIP V6 Access Module to be migrated to vtemip. The TeMIP V6 Access Module is then translated to a HPE OSS Assurance Adapter or a HPE OSS Assurance Simple Adapter in the support contract Bill Of Material. 5

6 HPE TeMIP Suite offerings HPE TeMIP Foundation HPE TeMIP Integrations and Liaisons HPE TeMIP Mediation - HPE TeMIP Access Module Solution - HPE TeMIP Access Module (AM) Run Time HPE TeMIP Development Toolkits (IST, OSI, CORBA, GAT) HPE TeMIP Client User Interface HPE OSS Fault Analytics & Statistics HPE TeMIP Foundation license is valid for a maximum of 4 Cores on a single Server or distributed over different Servers. The TeMIP Foundation is a bundle of several TeMIP functionalities: TeMIP Full Server, TeMIP Resynchronization FM, TeMIP Universal Notifier (TUN), TeMIP Network Data Loader (TNDL), Visual TeMIP and TAL Toolkit, TAL Client, TeMIP Web Services NBI, 5 concurrent AH Viewer users, unlimited IST RT & TeMIP PM servers. HPE TeMIP Integrations (SQM, Micro Focus NnmIᵠ, Micro Focus OMIᵠ) and Liaisons (OSS/J, Micro Focus Service Managerᵠ Remedy) are licensed per Server. HPE TeMIP Access Module Solution is sold per single fault management environment for a specific type of Telecom equipment for an unlimited number of equipments of the same type. It can be used for Production or Non-Production systems (Dev/Test) irrespective of the number and type of Servers deployed. The license may be used for a single legal entity only. A specific protocol (ASCII, CORBA...) is used depending on the type of equipment the mediation component will interface the TeMIP platform with. No TeMIP Access Module Run-time licenses are required for SNMP Customization nor Open Mediation based Solutions. For the others (ASCII, CORBA and OSI), 1 run-time license is required per Server and per AM of each type. Each Toolkit license is sold per development Server. There is no need for any corresponding Run-Time license on the development Server to test the produced Access modules. If the Toolkit is deployed on Production servers, Access Module Run-time licenses are required (see above) A TeMIP Foundation license is a prerequisite. User interfaces are licensed per Concurrent Users. 3 types of Client user interface licenses are available: - TeMIP Map Viewer, - TeMIP Map Editor, - TeMIP Alarm Handling Viewer. If TeMIP Map Viewer is purchased, a minimum of 1 TeMIP Map Editor license must be purchased. 5 TeMIP Alarm Handling Viewer licenses (5 Concurrent Users) are included in TeMIP Foundation license Note: TeMIP Foundation license is a prerequisite (mandatory for new platform but not required for extension or upgrade) HPE OSS Fault Analytics & Statistics license is sold under HPE OSS Analytics Value Pack Simple and allows to export in real-time alarms and events from TeMIP to a big data environment (Vertica** or Hadoop Cloudera). Those big data systems are pre-requisites and must be purchased separately. The Unified OSS Console concurrent User licenses need to be purchased separately. Customization of new summarizations and reports is enabled. 6

7 HPE Unified Correlation Automation (UCA) Suite offerings HPE Unified Correlation and Automation for HPE vtemip Suite Cloud Edition Foundation (UCA) HPE Unified Correlation Automation for Event Based Correlation core product (UCA-EBC) HPE Unified Correlation Automation for Event Based Correlation - Graph Database Extension (UCA-EBC Graph DB Extension) for Topology Based Correlation HPE Unified Correlation Automation Value Packs HPE Unified Correlation Automation for Automation Foundation HPE Unified Correlation Automation for Automation Value Packs HPE Unified Correlation Automation for Automation Adapters Each Unified Correlation and Automation for HPE vtemip Suite Cloud Edition Foundation is licensed per 8 Cores. The license includes the following: HPE Unified Correlation Automation for Event Based Correlation core product HPE Unified Correlation Automation for Event Based Correlation Graph Database Extension HPE Unified Correlation Automation for Automation Foundation Each Production license entitles the Licensee to a single equivalent Non-Production environment (same capacity). Where customers require additional Non-Production licenses, individual Non-Production component licenses should be purchased. Unified Correlation Automation for Event Based Correlation core product is licensed per number of processor Cores on a given server. The UCA-EBC license is valid for 4 Cores. For a Solution extension (more than 4 Cores), an incremental license must be purchased for each additional Core. Unified Correlation Automation for Event Based Correlation Graph Database extension is an optional add-on package on top of Unified Correlation Automation for Event Based Correlation core product. It is licensed per number of processor Cores. The UCA-EBC Graph DB license is valid for 4 Cores. For a Solution extension (more than 4 Cores), an incremental license must be purchased for each additional Core. The Graph DB is running in the same process / Java virtual machine (JVM) as UCA-EBC Core: x UCA-EBC 4 Cores license(s) + y Graph DB 4 Cores extension license(s) allow Solution deployment on a 4x+4y Core Servers. The total number of Cores licensed for UCA and the Graph DB must be greater or equal to the number of Cores assigned to the process or JVM. A Unified Correlation Automation Value Pack is a prepackaged Solution of UCA delivered as a product. A Value Pack is licensed per Solution. The license is purchased once and can be deployed all any Production or Non-Production (Dev/Test) server of the solution. UCA EBC core product is a license pre-requisite for: - HPE Unified Correlation Automation Problem Detection Value Pack UCA core product, Problem Detection Value Pack and Graph DB Extension products are license pre-requisites for: - HPE Unified Correlation Automation Topology State Propagator Value Pack Problem Detection Value Pack or Topology State Propagator Value Pack are license pre-requisites for: - HPE Unified Correlation Automation Technology Simple Value Pack - HPE Unified Correlation Automation Technology Medium Value Pack, - HPE Unified Correlation Automation Technology Complex Value Pack. The Technology Value Pack complexity (Simple, Medium, Complex) depends on the addressed correlation uses cases. HPE Unified Correlation Automation for Automation is licensed per number of processor Cores. The UCA Automation Foundation product License is valid for 8 processing Cores. If more than 8 Cores are needed, additional UCA Automation Foundation license(s) must be purchased. If an automation Solution must be complemented with a correlation Solution then UCA-EBC software must be purchased as a preliminary step unless purchased within the HPE vtemip Suite Cloud Edition Foundation. UCA Automation Value Packs are a prepackaged Solution of UCA Automation rules for a specific operations process. The Value Pack might include workflows used to comunicate with a specific set of network equipment. A Value Pack license is sold in addition to UCA Automation processing Cores and is licensed per Solution. The license is purchased once and can be deployed all any Production or Non-Production (Dev/Test) server of the solution. UCA Automation Adapters are factory developed interface modules and are part of the UCA Automation Solution suite. The interface modules include the protocol over which communications takes place with the downstream system and translation rules for outbound requests and inbound responses. A UCA Automation Adapter is licensed per Solution. It can be used for Production or Non-Production environments (Dev/Test) irrespective of the number and type of Servers deployed. The license may be used for a single legal entity only. 7

8 HPE Unified Topology Manager (UTM) Suite offerings HPE Unified Topology Manager (UTM) colllectors, populators and reconciliation The Unified Topology Manager Solution sub-components (UTM Collectors, UTM populators and UTM reconciliation) are licensed per Server or per type of system to interface. UTM Reconciliation is licensed per server. Different licenses are required for right to use in Production and Non- Production environments UTM Collectors are licensed per type of source of information. Different UTM collectors complexities are available (Simple/Medium/Complex). The Kettle Collector (Simple collector license) is mandatory for any UTM Solution. The UTM Collector complexity (Simple, Medium, Complex) depends on 2 factors: - The complexity of the topological data collected from the source application - The complexity of the interface used by the source to provide the data UTM populators are licensed per UTM Server and per target application. Different UTM populator complexities are available (Simple or Complex depending on the target application interface complexity). No need to purchase UTM populators licenses for TeMIP, vtemip or UCA. UTM populator license is mandatory if UTM populates ucmdb (Simple license), USLAM (Complex license) repositories or others. The UTM populator complexity (Simple, Complex) depends on 2 factors: - The complexity of the topological data to populate in the target application - The complexity of the interface required by the target to receive the data HPE OSS Mediation Suite offerings HPE OSS Mediation Toolkit HPE OSS Mediation Run-Time Each Unified Mediation Bus (UMB) Toolkit license is sold per development Server. There is no need for any corresponding Run-Time license to test the produced OSS Mediation adapter on the development Server. OSS Mediation Run-time licenses are required for the deployment of the produced adapters on the Production Server, 1 OSS Mediation run-time license is required per Server and per OSS Mediation adapter of each type. HPE OSS Mediation Adapter vtemip, UCA, UOC and UTM supports the development and addition of mediation components called HPE OSS Mediation Adapters. 2 different types of adapters are available: 1. HPE OSS Mediation Simple Adapters, 2. HPE OSS Mediation Adapters. The second one is used for Medium or Complex Adapters. HPE OSS Mediation Adapters are licensed per Solution and per source (integrated EMS type or 3rd party application) or per target application (example: UTM populator) The license is valid for Production and associated Non-Production environments. 8

9 HPE Unified OSS Console (UOC) Suite offerings HPE Unified OSS Console Licenses HPE Unified OSS Console dashboard Licenses allow the user to purchase according to either one of the two licensing models described below: o o HPE Unified OSS Console per Concurrent User license entitles the Licensee to use the HPE Unified OSS Console Solution on its Production and Non-Production Server (s) for the number of simultaneous User licenses purchased. The total licenses will be split between Production and Non-Production servers. HPE Unified OSS Console Core license entitles the Licensee to run the HPE Unified OSS Console Solution on a Production and Non-Production Server Core (physical or virtual). The number of licenses to be purchased depends on the size of the physical hardware or virtual Cores used by the HPE Unified OSS Console Solution. The total licenses will be split between Production and Non-Production servers. HPE Unified OSS Console View Designer License HPE Unified OSS Console Adapter License HPE Unified OSS Console Foundation Capacity License HPE Unified OSS Console View Designer License entitles the Licensee to use the View Designer on its HPE Unified OSS Console Production and Non-Production Server (s) by any number of Users. HPE Unified OSS Console View Designer License requires at least one HPE Unified OSS Console Concurrent User or Core license(s), or entitlement through a valid HPE CMS OSS Fulfillment license, as per HPE CMS OSS Fulfillment products ALA.
