1 RVS College of Arts and Science (Autonomous) School of Computer Studies (UG) Project Guidelines: Bonafide letter (1 Copy) from the Institution will be given to each student and the student has to take multiple photocopies of the letter to approach the company to get a project. Student has to undergo the project for a period of 6 Months (May 2014 October 2014). Project in Software training Institute/Computer Center/Petty shops or Real time projects are not allowed. Guide will be allocated to each student and he/she should regularly communicate to the concerned guide and has to get approval for every process. Each Student will be interviewed by a project selection committee on 26 th & 27 th June to validate the project. Each Student should appear with the Company Name, Proposed Modules and tool selection. After interviewing, the committee will list out the selection and the rejection of the project. If the project is selected by the committee then the student has to submit the Original and the photocopy of the acceptance letter (Format in Annexure I) from the company and followed by that he/she will be permitted to start the process relevant to project. Students should handover the monthly attendance certificate received from the company to the Institution guide. Students will be evaluated by their performance in their reviews < Review 1 to 4 >. 2 The Reviews are scheduled during project viva-voce hours as follows Review No. III B.Sc.(CS) III BCA III B.Sc.(IT) Review Presentation to be given only on the approval of the guide. Review presentation (PPT) has to be given to the concerned guide before 2 working days from the review date. At the time of every Review, the students have to produce their attendance report, duly authorized by the concerned authorities of the organization, to the guide. Students are expected to communicate with their guides regularly (Weekly) about the progress of the project. Mark will not be provided to the student if he/she is absent for the review. The evaluated 100 marks will be converted for 40% and consider as their Internal examination score. Rough Draft report should be submitted to their guide before 10 days from the 4 th review. Students should submit 1 copy of fair draft report in the form of hard binding during the 4 th review, Apart from this multiple copies can be taken, which is independent to the student. Cover wrapper should be in the following: III B.Sc.(CS) : Sky Blue. III BCA : Milky White. III B.Sc.(IT) : Grey. Students are informed to stick on to the given instructions.
