Compatibility The Dax Gigabit Managed PoE enterprise Switches supports IGMP snooping, IGMP filter, IGMP fast leave & IGMP proxy. The DX50XX-GMPoE series supports wire-speed replication of Multicast packet between VLANS, multicast load balancing among member interfaces of a trunk, and uncontrollable multicast, meeting requirements for IP surveillance & other Multicast solutions. Conservation of Energy This switch uses an energy-saving Integrated Circuit design to ensure minimum heat dissipation. Idle ports can enter a sleep mode to further reduce the consumption of power. The radiation produced by DX50xxGM-PoE series will be within the standard range for electric appliances & causes no harm to the human body.

3 Product Features and Highlights Function of PoE The DX50XX-GM PoE series offers an improved Power over Ethernet (PoE) function. This PoE switch can power devices, such as IP Phones, WLAN APs & IP Cameras. As a power sourcing equipment (PSE), this PoE switch complies with IEEE 802.3af & 802.3at (PoE+). Each Port provides a maximum of IEEE802.3at. This PoE+ function increases the maximum power available to each port and implements intelligent power management consumption applications. This facilitates the ease of PD use. PoE ports continue to work while it is in power-saving mode. All of the 10/100/1000 MBPS copper ports of this PoE switch will provide PoE power injector function which is able to drive 8/16/24 ports IEEE 802.3at/af compliant devices. Comprehensive Policies of Qos & Security Mechanisms The PoE Switch series of Dax classifies complex traffic based on the packet information such as the IP preference, TOS, DSCP, IP Protocol type, ICMP type and CoS. Each port supports eight priority queues and multiple queue scheduling algorithms, such as WRR, SP, WRR+SP. Together these features ensure high-quality voice, video & data services. DX50XX-GM PoE series offers multiple security measures to defend against Denial of Service () attacks, as well as attacks against networks users. attack types includes SYN Flood attacks, Land & Smurf attacks and ICMP Flood attacks. Attacks on network refers to STP BPDU/root attacks. Attacks on users include bogus DHCP server attacks, man-in-the-middle attacks, IP/MAC spoofing attacks and DHCP request flood attacks. attacks that change the CHADDR field in DHCP packets are another type of attack aimed at users. Deployment & Maintenance Free Supports SNMP & provides flexible methods for managing devices. Users can manage this PoE switch using the CLI & Web Interface.
