DStarlet DStarLet is a web-based text messaging application using D-Star digital data technology. Java based server can run on Windows, MacOS, or Linux. Clients can use any web browser. Multiple browser windows on the same or multiple computers can be used to create, send, receive, and manage multiple messages in parallel. The status of all incoming and outgoing messages are displayed in any browser window on any computer. Messages are error corrected. A communications log of all messages sent/received can be viewed on any browser. Authored By: Dean Gibson, AE7Q
D*Chat Runs on Windows Enables text based communications between multiple stations simultaneously. Runs on repeater, through the gateway, or on simplex frequency. Customizable Can send periodic QST message. Filters GPS data from the message stream. Has 7 quick send text message slots Authored By Brian, NJ6N
DSTARusers.org Provides listing of most recently heard stations, time, reporting node geographical locale and maps of repeater locations. Links to APRS location information See

D-STAR Solutions
Adding a New D-STAR Gateway to the Network
D-PRS interface/javaprssrvr D-PRS applications allowing the use of standard APRS clients to map D-STAR GPS activity See dstarusers.org/solutions.html Authored by: Pete Loveall, AE5PL
usmartdigi D-Gate D-STAR Gateway Standalone APRS digipeater Reformats D-STAR GPS data into APRS packet format to provide a gateway to APRS. Module goes inside the TNC-X See Developed By: Rich Painter, AB0VO, Painter Engineering Inc.
D-STAR query Allows remote users to interact with a preconfigured program on a remote computer over D-STAR DV low-speed data link. Using a preformatted query string on the low speed data link, append any received parameters, execute the program, and send the generated data back to the requestor. Authored by Pete Loveall, AE5PL
Opendstar.org Applications dshark D-Star packet protocol analyzer dswatch Shows gateway synchronization information in real time. decho The application is invoked by entering repeater call-sign and E into the UrCall field (e.g. K6SOA E). The repeater will record your transmission and play it back upon un-keying. Authored By: Robin Cutshaw, AA4RC
Important Development Underway Open Source Gateway can provide new D- Star functionality, e.g. conference bridging AMBE Dongle Provides AMBE 2020 interface between a radio and computer through USB port. Computer can monitor and process baseband packet stream Many more uses
