3 1. Setting up Mobile device using pfingo Portal Go to log in and click on "My Services" on the left menu Scroll down to pfingotalk and select Launch Service

4 Welcome to pfingotalk service portal Select Configure Mobile to set up your VoIP mobile phone to use pfingotalk.

5 2. Setting up a wireless LAN access point manually If you cannot use the WLAN wizard, you can define wireless LAN access points manually. Select Menu > Tools > Settings > Connection > Access points.

7 Select Options > New access point. To use an existing access point as a basis for the new one, select Use existing settings. To start with an empty access point, select Use default settings. Define the following settings. Connection name Enter a descriptive name for the connection Data bearer Select Wireless LAN WLAN netw. name To enter the service set identifier (SSID), that is, the name that identifies the specific wireless LAN, select Enter Manually. To select the network from the wireless LANs in range, select Search for netw. Network status Select Hidden if the network you are connecting to is hidden, or Public if it is not hidden. WLAN netw. mode If you select Infrastructure, devices can communicate with each other and with wired LAN devices through a wireless LAN access point. If you select Ad-hoc, devices can send and receive data directly with each other, and no wireless LAN access point is needed. WLAN security mode You must select the same security mode that is used in the wireless LAN access point. If you select WEP (wired equivalent privacy), 802.1x or WPA2 (Wi-Fi protected access), you must also configure the relevant additional settings. WLAN security setts Edit the security settings for the selected WLAN security mode. Homepage Enter the Web address of the page you want to display as a home page when you use this access point.

8 To start making VoIP calls, you need to discover your Access Points and activate your preferred Wi-Fi connection. Select Menu > Connect > Internet tel. Select preferred profile and the net call profile you just created.

9 3. Manually configuring VoIP on a supported Mobile device 1. Select Menu > Tools > Settings > Connection 2. Scroll down to SIP settings, follow the following and configure the following: Profile Name: <any name> Service Profile: IETF Default Access Point: <any or none> Public User Name: sip:<user id>@sip.pfingo.com (eg: sip: @sip.pfingo.com) Use Compression: no Registration: When needed Use Security: No Proxy Server: Proxy Server Address: sip: sip.pfingo.com Realm: sip.pfingo.com User Name: <user id> (eg: ) Password: <password> Allow Loose Routing: Yes Transport Type: UDP Port: 5060 Registrar Server: Proxy Server Address: sip: sip.pfingo.com Realm: sip.pfingo.com User Name: <user id> (eg: ) Password: <password> Allow Loose Routing: Yes Transport Type: UDP Port: 5060 Go back to Menu > Tools > Settings > Connection and select Internet tel. Settings. Configure the following: Profile Name: <any name> SIP profiles: <The SIP profile name given in the SIP settings>

11 4. Making a VoIP call To start making VoIP calls, you need to discover your Access Point and activate your preferred Wi-Fi connection. Select Menu > Connect > Internet tel. Select preferred profile and the net call profile you just created. Next, go to home screen and enter number to dial. Select Options > Call > Internet Call

13 5. Setting up SG If you want to use SG to connect to the service, you would need to login through the landing page first. Search for the WLAN and select SG. Start the web browser. It should bring you to the landing page on the left. Select the Service Provider you have signed up with and enter your credentials. After successfully logging in, select Connect > Internet tel. and select the profile SG. It will connect to the Access Point you select. Once connected, a yellow star will appear as shown on the screenshot on the left. You are now ready to make a phone call.
