2 Installation The manufacturer provides a complete kit that includes 2 antennas Mimosa B5-Lite (20dBi), 2 Gigabit Power Suppliers 56V 0.275, 2 mounting brackets and screws. This greatly simplifies the installation process, because in the box there are all necessary elements needed to compile a complete link. The only thing missing is the wiring (UTP/FTP Cat.6) but this are usually cut according to your needs. The following photos perfectly illustrate the contents of the kit and the form of received equipment.

3 Configuration The configuration process and "the first run" is definitely different compared to other devices currently available on the market.: 1. The device has to be connected to an Ethernet network. Then the address from DHCP will be automatically downloaded. In situation when there is lack of the assigned address, access to a device can be obtained through the default IP address ( fallback IP). 2. The device is factory blocked by Mimosa. So as to unlock it you must create an account on the mimosa website ( and then confirm your registration by clicking on the link received on given address. 3. When you log in to your account enter the Unlock settings, where you must enter the serial number of the device. After unlocking, the warranty is activated for 12 months.

4 4. In the account settings, select the location and the country in which the device is to be used. By selecting a location you define the frequencies the device will work on: By selecting Poland- a choice of frequencies and powers are legally available By selecting Poland Licensed - you get the full scope of operating and power of Mimosa B5- Lite - Frequencies MHz (upper limit increased to 6200MHz in software version 1.3.1) 5. When you enter the data in the Unlock menu you obtain the unlock key, which has to be pasted directly in the control panel. Location data is included in the unlock key. Of course you can freely change the location and generate a new unlock key for the already possessed device.

5 6. The unit is now ready to use. After logging in, dashboard looks as follows: Performance TEST 1 The following test was made directly between the antennas B5-Lite, using the diagnostic tool Bandwidth Test based on UDP protocol, generating packets of 1,500 bytes. Antennas have been set on the "Auto Everything" mode.

6 When you enable "Auto Everything" mode Mimosa B5-Lite analyzes in detail the available bandwidth and selects the most optimal channel, as well as its width and the power of antenna s transmission. The whole process takes a few minutes, which can disturb us, which can disturb you that the link won t compile. On the other hand, there are logs which contains information about changes being made by the device in order to compile the connection. Transmit

9 Transmit and Receive Simultaneously Noteworthy is the last test, in which you generate both incoming and outgoing traffic. Just after 2 seconds of test launch the bandwidth of over 700Mbps has been achieved!!!
