1. Product Overview The RG-RSR10-02 is a new-generation network products developed by Ruijie specially for large and medium-sized enterprises and its branches.

3 1. Product Overview The RG-RSR10-02 is a new-generation network products developed by Ruijie specially for large and medium-sized enterprises and its branches. With advanced software structure and hardware platform, the RSR offers integrated solutions to edge networks of enterprises at minimum costs to better address diversified demands for future service expansion and IT build-up. The RG-RSR10-02 integrates multiple networking features including routing, switching, voice, security, transmission, video and 3G access to meet stringent demands of various application scenarios. Relying on the wide variety of software features, RSR Series Routers support technical applications of VoIP, VPN, MVRF, as well as rich backup solutions and QoS features for data, video and voice accesses. RG-RSR10-02 utilizes modularization structure and supporting proprietary technologies such as VCPU, REF, X-Flow etc., it also fully supports IPFIX function. The new generation RSR10-02 adopts the modular structure, featuring high performance, plentiful fixed interfaces, hardened security, easy-to-use and service-oriented. It is built-in with a hardware encryption engines for high-speed and secure encryption/decryption. RG-RSR10-02 The RG-RSR10-02 has two slots for SIC network/voice modules, supporting diversified multifunctional network/voice modules in high density for more composite applications. The RGOS to which Ruijie holds independent IPRs is adopted as the operating system, which provides complete redundant backup solutions and supports VoIP features. The RGOS offers efficient and cost-effective network solutions with ample QoS features to SMEs. RG-RSR10-02 provides users with low-cost router solutions for small networks and can be used for small branch access and financial ATM access. Innovation Beyond Network 1

Product Features 2.1 Multi-Service and Multifunction Integrated 3G function It supports CDMA2000, WCDMA, wireless 3G telecommunication function, which meet customer s need of deploying 3G as primary or backup link. Meanwhile, abundant services and functions are provided. WCDMA bands support: 850-, 900-, 1900-, and 2100-MHz WCDMA bands (HSUPA, HSDPA and UMTS) 850-, 900-, 1800-, and 1900-MHz GSM bands (EDGE and GPRS) Support different kinds of 3G modules at the same time. 3G wireless interface module supports functions based on IP, such as interface backup, flow statistics, anti- attack. 3G interface has two kinds of operating modes: always online and dial on demand. Provide mobile terminal antenna with extension cable to ensure the 3G signal can be covered Integration of Routing and Switching It supports the SIC-4ESW L2 switch module, the Ethernet switch module that can be expanded flexibly with rich switching features on L2 & L3. All switching Ethernet ports can be configured to support L2 or L3 interfaces, and L3 applications such as ACL and QoS Integrated Voice and Video Functions It provides plenty of IP phone modules including FXS and FXO, supports standard SIP and H. 323 protocol stacks and the GK interface. 5 2.1.4 Integrated Security Functions Encryption engine is embedded to support hardware based encryption. It provides various security functions including firewall, IPSec VPN, Secure Shell (SSH) protocol, intrusion protection, anti-ddos and attack prevention. It supports authentication, authorization and accounting (AAA), Radius, and TACACS+ authentication protocol Integrated VPN Functions It supports IPSec VPN functions. It supports GRE VPN functions. It supports the VPDN applications of the L2TP/PPTP. It supports L2TP/PPTP penetration for NAT applications. 2.2 Separate Management Control and Data Forwarding Advanced V-CPU design concept is adopted in the RGOS system of the RG-RSR10-02 to divide CPU resources into management resources and data forwarding resources. Resource allocation is completed automatically based on the service load of each kind. Thus, management applications of CLI, SNMP, Telnet and routing protocols are guaranteed during large-volume data forwarding and protected against large-traffic packets attacks. In this way, management and forwarding are separated completely. 2.3 Modular Design of Small Chassis The design of 11-inch wide chassis allows for convenience and flexibility. Two fixed 10/100M fast Ethernet ports are provided. Two slots for SIC network/voice modules are provided to support diversified modules with rich functions and high-density network/voice. 6 2.4 High Performance The packet forwarding rate is as high as 230 kpps. The flow table technology is adopted. When QoS, ACL, NAT and PBR services are enabled, the first packet is matched item by item, and the following packets in the flow are matched according to the flow table, instead of item by item. Thus, the processing performance is the same no matter there are 100 or 300 ACLs or PBRs. Enabling the ACL, QoS, PBR, and NAT services has little impact on the routing performance. RG-RSR10-02 combines effectively the brand-new hardware and structured software to provide users with integrated data, security, voice, video and upper-layer applications. They support current and future Internet applications without impacting the original data transmission functions. 2.5 Complete QoS Policies It supports secondary QoS function. With the QoS technology of the RGOS, can first enable GTS, then enable the QoS queuing mechanism, to support the QoS on high-bandwidth MSTP links. It supports congestion management policies including PQ, CQ, FIFO, WFQ, CBWFQ, LLQ, and RTPQ. It supports congestion avoidance policy--wred. It supports GTS-based traffic shaping. It supports CAR-based traffic policing. It supports QoS policies based on the CTCP and CRTP link efficiency. It supports voice packet priority, and provides SMEs with satisfying and cost-effective multifunctional service platforms. 2.6 Rich Software Features Unified RGOS Network Platform All RSR Series Routers operate on the advance RGOS system to provide diversified functions and cater to different applications. 7 2.6.2 Virtual Routing Forwarding The VRF can divide one router into many virtual r outers logically, each of which works as an independent router with an independent routing table, data forwarding interfaces, and separate services. Thus, multiple services can coexist on one router and be separated from each other. The expenditures of customers in equipment and telecommunication resources are reduced. 2.7 Convenient, Manageable and User-Friendly Features Standard CLI is adopted, so the operation is much easier, and the learning, use and maintenance costs are lower. It supports the SNMP protocol, and upload and download of configuration files through the TFTP for easy network management. It supports Telnet/Console for convenient remote management and control.
