Blade Chassis The bidder must have at least 25 customer reference sites of local area network installation or 25 reference sites each of minimum 50 machine (Computer) installations, in Gujarat. Customer references & Purchase orders must be attached along with the bid. (Form No. E 4) Eligibility Criteria Since the scope of work of this tender is for Servers & Storage and not for LAN or desktop machine. Experience of installation and maintenance of servers of bidders should be considered. Requesting change in terms as below. The Bidder Must have at least 5 similar customer reference site of installation & maintenance of Server in India. OR Request to consider above mentioned experience under eligibility criteria. Form no. T2 (TECHNICAL MINIMUM SPECIFICATIONS) 2 Page No.13 Blade Server Chassis/Enclosure must be quoted as required by OEM solution architecture at Primary Site. As Majority of OEM having Enterprise Chassis with minimum 14 Blades, to bring all OEM at par, we request you to make it minimum 10 Blade servers. Also that will help for future expandability as already 6 servers are asked Blade Server Chassis/Enclosure must support minimum 10 Blade Servers at Primary Site. 3 Page No.13 Upto 10U chassis Most of the OEMs have multiple Chassis targeting the various segments. To bring parity to all and to ensure Enterprise Class Chassis, we request for amendment as requested. This request is also in line with the IT Infra being asked is Enterprise Class and Scalable. Upto 10U chassis. The Chassis should be capable of housing more than 8 Half Height or 4 Full Height Blade Servers.

2 4 Page No.13 Each of the tailoring NIC shall be capable of tailoring the network bandwidth with their own dedicated, optional customized bandwidth per 10Gb downlink connection, optional with customizable speeds from 100Mbps to 10Gbps. Request you to amend it with "CPU 64 bit, Intel Xeon Processor E v3 (15M Cache, 2.40 GHz, 6C, 6.4 GT/s) or higher. 6 Page No.14 No. of CPUs required currently : 12 cores using minimum 2 processor sockets Please amend it with 16 cores using minimum 2 processor sockets 7 Page No.14 The Memory in the proposed server should be DDR3; 128 GB RAM using DDR MHz Registered (RDIMM) memory using 16 GB DIMM modules and upgradeable up to 512GB or more Considering critical requirement of online booking reservation system, we request you to consider minimum 2*8Core CPU instead of 6 core CPU. Also SSD Drives and Tiering is asked for performance point, for better performance, we request you to ask for the cache 8GB per controller Offered Storage Array shall be given with Minimum of 8 GB cache per controller in a single unit. Automated Tiering It is evident that one is looking for an Enterprise class Storage. We recommend to ask for Automate Tiering across 3 tiers. 12 Page No. 18 The storage array shall support Automated tiering of data with minimum 2 tiers with SSD and SAS disks. This will safeguard the investment made in the Storage as of today and leave the option on replication mode at the time of actual implementation of DR Site. Transparent bridging is OEM specific. Please remove the same. BGP version 4 as per RFC DVMRP is vendor specific. Request an amendment as suggested. Request an amendment on the same lines (as suggested). Powerful QoS feature supporting strict priority (SP) queuing, weighted round robin (WRR), weighted fair queuing (WFQ / DiffServ & 802.1P), and weighted random early discard (WRED) 32 Page No. 23 Management Features : Shall have Ethernet OAM (IEEE 802.3ah) management capability The same is not supported and hence requested to remove this specification. This is a feature for deploying metro network which is not the case here. Please clarify the scope of work here In the bid, we have already mentioned Scope of Work. For other issue, regarding supply and installation of hardware, bidder is requested to visit/contact indenting department.
