2 DESCRIPTION QuickLAN 6050 QuickLAN 6050 is ideal for all installers who need an easy instrument for a preliminary LAN test QuickLAN 6050 permits to test quickly and effectively two main parameters of a LAN cable: mapping and length. It signals eventual wrong connections (crossed, split, inverted couples and so on), it can detect problems of the cable itself (open circuits, short circuits) and locate the exact position of the fault thanks for the TDR function. By using codified remote control units (optional) it s also possible to quickly detect the connection between the RJ45 sockets located in the working rooms and the ones located on the transposition panel or on the HUB. QuickLAN 6050 is an easy and effective cable tester with the ability to identify cable failures, check wiring, and measure cable length in the UTP (Unshielded twisted pair cable), FTP (Foil screened twisted pair cable), and COAX (Coaxial cable) cables. QuickLAN 6050 not only identifies wiring faults, such as open wires, shorted wires, miswires and split pairs, but also tests up 4different cables at one end. A stored cable library provides quick access to common cable types. QuickLAN 6055 QuickLAN 6055 is ideal for all installers who need an easy instrument for a preliminary LAN test. QuickLAN 6055 permits to test quickly and effectively all cables inside LAN networks. The meter check all eventual wrong connections (crossed, split, inverted couples and so on), can detect problems of the cable itself (open circuits, short circuits) and shows results in a large Custom display in a clear and simply way. By using up to 8 codified remote control units (optional accessories) it's also possible to quickly detect the connection between the RJ45 sockets located in the working rooms and the ones located on the transposition panel or on the HUB. QuickLAN 6055 is an easy and effective cable tester for LAN cables of whatsoever category (CAT 5, CAT 5E, CAT 6, CAT 7, etc.). It s able to detect cable failures and check wirings in UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair) and STP (Shielded screened shielded Twisted Pair) cables. QuickLAN 6055 not only identifies wiring faults, such as open wires, shorted wires, miswires and split pairs, but also tests up to 8 different cables at one end thanks to eight different remote units (#1 and #2 standard accessories, #3 - #8 optional). 1
