3 3 CONNECTION ISSUES Will not connect to ios device Is the ios device listed as compatible? See Page 42 Unfortunately, your device may not be compatible Have you setup as per user guide instructions. See Page 35 Is the Power Light solid white/blinking white? See Page 32 Please setup as per user guide instructions and try again Please follow charging instructions. See Page 30 Does changing the Lightning Cable resolve the problem? Is the USB port free from debris and obstruction? There is a fault with the Lightning Cable, please use an alternative cable We suggest using compressed air to dislodge obstructions. 4 4 Will not connect to Android Device Is the Android device version 4.4 (KitKat) Or later? Have you setup as per user guide instructions. See Page 36 Unfortunately, your device may not be compatible Please setup as per user guide instructions and try again Ensure android setting are correct to allow OTG connection Is the Power Light solid white? See Page 32 Select Detect USB Device in android settings Please follow charging instructions. See Page 30 Does changing the Lightning Cable resolve the problem? Is the USB port free from debris and obstruction? There is a fault with the Lightning Cable, please use an alternative cable We suggest using compressed air to dislodge obstructions. 8 8 Will not connect to Windows Phone Unfortunately, Windows 10 mobile and earlier are not OTG compliant and are therefore not compatible with the DACAmp L1. Please refer to User Guide (Page42) for compatible devices. Will not connect to Other Device Please contact RHA Customer Care for queries for compatibility with any devices not listed. 8

See Page 30 Please setup as per user guide instructions and try again Are you using a power source that is 1A or higher? Does changing the USB Cable resolve the problem? Please charge using a power source rated at 1A or higher There is a fault with the USB Cable, please use an alternative cable Is the USB port free from debris and obstruction? Microphone not Working through DACAmp L1 Unfortunately, the DACAmp L1 does not support microphone function. 15

16 16 Audio t Balanced Ensure the DACAmp L1 is unplugged and powered off. Using a 1mm Allen key remove the face plate covering the gain, Bass and Treble dials. Located between the dials are two holes in which there are switches for left and right bias marked L and R. Using the Allen key press the desired bias button to correct balance. Remove Face Plate Press Left or Right Bias 16

17 17 OTHER ISSUES DACAmp L1 Becoming Hot Please note that the Dacamp may produce heat while charging; this is normal and within the Dacamp s working parameters. However, to avoid high temperatures, it is recommended that the Dacamp is not used for extended periods during charging. If you have any concerns about the product overheating, please contact RHA Customer Care. For any other issues with the DACAmp L1 that have not been mentioned please contact RHA Customer Care for advice. 17

44 44 Driver Installation Download the Driver from it will appear as below once downloaded. Double click to begin installation and follow instructions 44

45 45 Click finish to close the installation wizard. Ensure your device is disconnected before proceeding. Connect your device and turn the power on. Right click the audio icon on the task bar and select playback devices. 45

46 46 Select the DACAMP L1 and press Set Default The DACAmp will now override as the default device when connected. 46
