Make sure you have the Wi Fi login details for your router. Make sure the password of your Internet router does not exceed 32 characters long, if that is the
8 case it will have to be changed in order to connect. If this is not the first time you have connected to this router and the right Wi Fi settings have already been saved, the three LEDs will flash white and after a few seconds, Figure will move straight from step 1 to step 3. Step 1 Connect Figure to a power socket. The ON/OFF button is red to indicate that the device is on. The three LEDs flashing white indicates that Figure is trying to connect to Wi Fi. Step 2 Wait for the 3 LEDs to flash red alternatively before connecting with the application. [1] Enter the information required to set up your account. [2] Go into the menu DAY TO DAY CARE > START IN DAY TO DAY MODE > I VE GOT Figure > CONFIGURE WIFI. Enter the information to configure the WiFi [3] (connection may take a few seconds). Step 3 Step 4 Step 5 Step 6 Once the connection has been established, the ON/OFF button will flash white. Press the ON/OFF button. The LEDs will flash whilst the device initialises. The ON/OFF light flashes red to indicate there are no bottles. A message on your Romy App will show that the bottles need to be loaded. Go to step Loading the bottles.

If the information entered is incorrect, an error message will be displayed on the application. LOADING THE BOTTLES Figure works with 1 bottle of BASE SERUM and 1 bottle of WASHING SOLUTION. [1] It doesn t matter what order they are loaded in, the device recognises the bottles once they have been loaded. It is important to load new bottles and confirm each bottle to ensure that Figure and the Romy app work properly. Step 1 Open the loading hatch. [2] Scenario 1: empty loading space or bottle(s) The confirm button flashes red and the rotation button is steady blue. Scenario 2: The confirm button is steady blue and the rotation button flashes blue. Step 2 Remove the cap from the bottle. Step 3 Load the bottle, tilting it. It is required to wait until the end of the cycle before going to the next step. RESET 1. The device has three spaces, so it is possible to load 2 bottles of BASE SERUM and 1 bottle of WASHING SOLUTION. 2. The device cannot dispense any treatment whilst the loading hatch is open. Resetting Figures delete all configured settings of your formulateur (connection parameters, care volume, stocks). Reset Figure only if necessary. Step 1 Unplug then plug back Figure. 11 Use PREPARING A CARE Steps Set up and pairing, Loading the bottles and Filling the water reservoir are complete, your Figure device is ready to deliver your care. The rear hatch must be closed and all of the accessories must be in place. It does not matter in which order you load the capsules prescribed by Romy. The volume of care provided is by default 1mL. Refer to the section on Manual connection to change this volume. Open the Romy app and create your daily prescription. View the data that has been captured. Fill in the data related to your activity, your environment, etc. The Romy application will prescribe the formulation that is best suited to the needs of your skin at that exact moment. Prepare the capsules prescribed by the application (1 to 3 active agent capsules). The 1st LED will flash on the Figure control panel. Insert a 1st active agent capsule. Wait for the 2nd LED to start flashing. Insert a 2nd active agent capsule. [1] Wait for the 3rd LED to start flashing. Insert a 3rd active agent capsule. [2]
12 Press the Profile 1 or Profile 2 button on the device to start your formulation. [2] After a few seconds, your tailor made care will be dispensed on the spatula. Apply the care to your skin. After the treatment has been dispensed, the machine begins an automatic rinsing phase. The three LEDs on the control panel flash pink. Once rinsing is complete, the first LED flashes white and Figure is ready to prepare a new treatment. Clean the spatula under running water. Dry it with a soft cloth. Put the spatula back in place (with the hollow part facing upwards). 1. If the prescription only specifies 1 or 2 capsules, proceed straight to the step Press Profile 1 or If you are the primary user, select Profile 1. If you are a guest who is sharing Figure, select Profile 2. The care will be recorded in your personal account. MANUAL CONNECTION In some cases it may be necessary to restart the Bluetooth connection between Figure and your smartphone, for example: to change your WiFi settings, to change the volume of the care. [1] The following procedure can be used to restart the connection manually. Press the ON/OFF button for around three seconds, until it turns red. [2] Wait for the 3 LEDs to flash red alternatively before connecting with the application. Once it has connected, the device will start to work normally again. 1. How much is extracted from the capsule can vary between 40% and 90%. 2. To deliberately stop the connection phase, the user will have to press the ON/OFF button for approximately three seconds; Figure will then resume normal operation. STANDBY MODE We recommend putting the device on standby after use.
13 Briefly press the ON/OFF button. A glowing light confirms that Figure is on standby. To exit standby mode, press the ON/OFF button again. Automatic standby The device goes into standby automatically after five minutes of inactivity. Maintenance Unplug the device before cleaning as described above. EXTERNAL SURFACES Never use an abrasive or a solvent. If necessary, clean the device with a cloth dampened slightly with water or a mild liquid soap. ACCESSORIES Unplug the device before cleaning as described above. The user must check and empty the water and capsule collectors if needed, according to frequency of use. Make sure that the water collector does not overflow. Clean the washing accessory (3) regularly to prevent it from getting blocked (recommended frequency = every 5 care cycles). Water reservoir: dishwasher friendly (recommended frequency = every 2 weeks).
14 Remove the collectors by pulling on the tab. Empty collectors (1) and (2) and rinse them with clean water. Clean the washing accessory with water (3). Ensure that there is no residue. Dry with a clean cloth. Put all of the elements back in place. [1] 1. If the washing accessory (3) is not correctly positioned, the ON/OFF button will flash red and a fault message will appear on the Romy app; check the position of the accessory. AUTOMATIC CLEANING The Figure formulator comes with a fully automatic system for cleaning its internal mechanisms. This process ensures the highest standards of hygiene. This cleaning happens usually every week and at first use. If the device detects insufficient water in the reservoir, a warning message will appear. Please refer to the section on Filling the water reservoir. If the device detects that the WASHING SOLUTION bottle is empty, a warning message will appear. Loading the bottles. All the LEDs of the interface scroll pink during cleaning. The cleaning cycle starts automatically. You must wait until the cycle has finished before using Figure for another care. The device is ready when the 1st LED starts flashing again.
15 REPLACING THE BOTTLES When a bottle is empty, the ON/OFF button flashes red. A message on your Romy app will tell you that you need to replace the used up bottle. Refer to the section on Replacing the bottles Error messages When an error with the device is detected, the ON/OFF button flashes red. You need to take action.
