2 interact-vsx-8, interact-vsx-10, interact-vsx-12 InterACT-VSX is the innovative and powerful display product line that is designed and built to operate perfectly in harsh working conditions. Important data of a machine can be visualized in many different ways. Additionally the devices offer input options for operation via softkeys and / or a touch screen. The panel mounted version can be installed in the dashboards, as well as in control cabinets of working machines. RAM-mount variants are also available for flexible mounting in the cab in combination with a wide variety of accessories. The connection to the control system is realized with field bus systems. Intuitive programming is enabled via the graphical interface of the software development kit. All displays can be equipped to reach SIL2 for visualization, video, communication, as well as touch screen and soft-key operations. Basically three different configurations of the displays can be chosen: With the models Basic, Advanced and Professional, displays with various characteristics are available. Through the integration of expansion boards, the devices can be customized for specific interfaces and functions. Furthermore it is possible to create tailor-made "Customer" displays to meet the exact needs of OEMs. TECHNOLOGY GFG Touchscreen Hardware Acceleration DevKit SIL 2 Profiles CUSTOMER BENEFITS An especially tough touchscreen in Glass-Film-Glass (GFG) Technology, that can be used with gloves or wet hands. The displays offer a very high performance, as hardware acceleration relieves the processor from video- and interface processing loads. Easy creation of a graphical user interface for the end user with this graphic design and programming tool and its integrated 35 widgets for indicators and control elements of all kinds. With the SIL 2 profiles the modified and safety relevant parts are quickly identified, an important factor in recertification after changes. 5 Display and operation The interact-vsx-8, -VSX-10 and -VSX-12 displays with their various interfaces, can reliably recognize the working state of a mobile machine and display it with various graphical options. They can also send information back to the machine with various operating features. That makes the machine a lot easier to control. Everything in view With up to 4 analog video cameras (up to 8 with an appropriate expansion board), badly visible areas of your mobile machine can be monitored and displayed, which makes operating a machine a lot safer. Safety The interact-vsx displays support safety-oriented applications in accordance with SIL 2 by means of safe displays and safe operating inputs. Video signals from connected analog cameras can also be displayed safely. Quick start Special HW architecture allows the VSX-Series devices to display first information and to process protocols immediately after switch-on. Expandability A flexible production concept with optional configurations of the mainboard and a range of expansion boards allows the displays to be tailored to a very wide range of operating requirements. Additional memory, more CAN interfaces, additional camera inputs and much more is possible. Programming The programming is done with the graphic design and programming suite DevKit. DevKit offers a variety of widgets which provide different display formats for machine data. Data points and lookup tables are used to pass and assign the values to the display. These values can be from several sources, for example data from a vehicle controller is received through the CAN bus. Display and control elements can be placed on multiple pages. Navigation through the pages can be programmed as required.
