4 Aggregating and Regenerating Backplane (Available with the 1U Chassis) Using the Smart Network Access System 1U Chassis, it is possible to aggregate data from multiple tapped links and send a copy of the traffic to a single monitoring port/network tool. Example: Aggregated Traffic From Tapped Links Using the SPAN regeneration feature, it is possible to take the data flowing in from a SPAN port and regenerate it to output to up to 16 monitoring ports. 5 Aggregating and Regenerating Backplane (Available with the 1U Chassis) There are unlimited s for segmenting the backplane. This feature allows you to aggregate traffic from some or all of the modules and sends it back out some or all of the monitoring ports. All modules are fully configurable to become TAP ports, SPAN ports or monitoring ports. Example : Aggregate Traffic From Each Module The backplane can also be split, aggregating all A to B traffic and all B to A traffic and sending them out different monitoring ports.
