3 1 Floorstanding luminaires Luminaires for offi ce workstations Futurel LED The fl oorstanding luminaires of the Futurel LED family have been consistently designed for LED. The extremely fl at luminaire head is only possible with this technology. A multi-chamber refl ector generates double asymmetric light distribution. At single workstations, the light is distributed precisely onto the working plane and into the adjacent surroundings. Undesired stray light is reduced to a minimum. The luminaires of the Futurel LED family feature an integrated presence and brightness sensor. Confi guration is carried out either via Bluetooth or Windows PC. With white and silver as design colors, the Futurel LED blends harmoniously into a wide diversity of offi ce environments and supports open, transparent spatial concepts. Rapid advances in LED technology lead to permanent improvements in energy effi ciency. This has the result that luminous fl ux or power consumption can also change correspondingly. This creates a homogeneous distribution of light upon the working plane with a high, glare-free direct component. The balanced contrast creates a pleasant atmosphere, and lighting that complies with standards for computer workstations. Due to their high workmanship and quality of design, the luminaires of the Futurel 5MS family adapt to modern offi ce environments technically as well as in terms of visual appearance. 11 1 Floorstanding luminaires Luminaires for decorative supplementary lighting POWERPOLE The POWERPOLE fl oorstanding uplight features an unusual and slender design and innovative optics. The fi ligree design is made possible by the use of a sophisticated light guide system. The purist look is determined by the high-quality housing material of brushed and anodized aluminum as well as the transparent light emission aperture over almost the complete length of the luminaire of 1600mm. When switched on, the luminaire appears as a continuously luminous pole that distributes pleasant, warm white light asymmetrically into the room. The fl oorstanding uplight is steplessly dimmed and switched with a touch sensor on the luminaire head. If required, the POWERPOLE automatically switches off after one hour with the supplementary AutoSleep function.
