3 Lunis 2 micro controls Product Introduction Attractive and sustainable Intelligent functionality and aesthetic design make Lunis 2 micro controls the ideal choice for a wide variety of applications in the office, hospitality and retail sectors. The modules are not merely an expansion of the familiar Lunis 2 micro family but can also be upgraded. All DALI-capable luminaires without integrated sensors can be upgraded via the external solution to exploit the savings potential of light management systems. 4 Lunis 2 micro controls Technology A noticeably discreet design Lunis 2 micro controls maintain the looks of the Lunis 2 micro downlights. They feature a discrete shadow gap and can be installed flush in the ceiling. The control units are accommodated in the ceiling, achieving harmonious and discreet integration even in sophisticated surroundings. 4

5 Lunis 2 micro controls Technology Less effort, more possibilities Unobtrusive design and simple installation make Lunis 2 Downlights the perfect choice for exacting professional light applications. Lunis 2 micro controls i mpress with the same convincing design, and mounting is simple with identical accessories. Simply diverse installation Thanks to the same system and the same accessories as well as a minimised quantity of parts, mounting of the sensor modules is as simple and diverse as the Lunis 2 micro downlights themselves. Snap-in-mounting (SIM) The spring mechanism of the modules enables the same tool-free mounting as with Lunis 2 downlights. In order to securely anchor the mounting ring into the ceiling aperture, a light press of the lever of the SIM system is sufficient. The ready-for-connection modules are then clicked into the mounting ring with a single hand movement. Concrete casting housing* The Lunis 2 concrete casting surround can be used for Lunis 2 micro. The aluminium housing also features an optimised surface coating enabling very good heat dissipation. *cannot be used for the product version with combined functionality 5

6 Lunis 2 micro controls Application Lunis 2 micro controls: A secure feeling for efficient light Efficient control solutions are the future in building technology. Lunis 2 micro controls enable the implementation of energyoptimised lighting, without having to do without maximum requirements in terms of design. A simple functional principle Lunis 2 micro controls detects the level of daylight via sensors and motion, for example at workstations or in corridors, and the control unit modifies lighting in accordance with this. Working conditions become more comfortable and energy is saved. Lunis 2 micro controls functions with a PIR (passive infrared) sensor detecting the infrared radiation emitted from a moving object. 7 Lunis 2 micro controls Application Six function modes Six preset function profiles exist for differing scenarios: single office, open-plan office, sanitary room, stairway, corridor and conference room/classroom. These define how light is controlled in each case, for example whether it is switched on to 100 % following movement detection or only switched on as supplementary light to the natural entry of daylight. How long light remains active after the last motion detection is also defined, whether it is completely switched off or whether it is reduced to a specific percentage of the luminous flux. Further configuration options Profiles can be individually modified via remote control. Programming of the controller is carried out via the master remote control. During operation the optional user remote control can also be used, enabling system operation without programming. Settings can also be made using a configuration tool on a PC as an alternative to the remote control. This is convenient as all values are available at a glance on the screen. Values can then be transferred via USB stick from the PC to the remote control (version with optional USB connection) for commissioning. More information: Master and slave If the detection range of a sensor is not sufficient for a room, the master sensor can be supplemented with slave modules. The slave modules are connected over the DALI line and have the same characteristics as the master sensor. Up to two slave sensors can be connected to a master. 7
