2 The Videojet PrintPro digital printing system incorporates innovations in digital printing technology. The system provides ultra-high speed printing, high resolution images, and a print area of up to 19" x 18". The PrintPro system is easy to install and operate, and features a Windows interface with what-you-see-is-what-you-get (WYSIWYG) image layout. The system can be easily upgraded, so it can grow with you as your requirements change. Its capabilities are unmatched by any competing digital printing system. Videojet PrintPro Digital Printing System 19" x 18" Print Area The PrintPro system can be configured with nine 2" printheads to produce a print band of 19 x 18" [smaller print bands are available, starting at 2" (51 mm)]. Scale the system as your needs demand. Print graphical images and logos, bar codes, addresses, ingredient statements whatever your application requires. Expanded print capabilities enable you to meet the needs and demands of your customers. Fast-Drying Inks on Wide Range of Substrates No need for dryers or heaters with the PrintPro system. Our range of fast-drying inks, including a patented, MEK-free organic solvent-based fluid, produce highly legible images on a wide array of substrates, including plastics, aqueous coated paper stocks, varnished surfaces, shrink film, and clay-coated corrugated at resolutions up to 256 dpi. These inks were designed to dry quickly (one to two seconds unassisted) and remain smear-proof. And, the 5-liter containers of ink and make-up fluid provide longer, uninterrupted production runs. Flexible Configurations and Universal Compatibility The PrintPro system can be used as a stand-alone printer or as part of an in-line printing application. The PrintPro system can be integrated with a variety of production equipment web presses, bindery, production lines whatever your application, this printer can handle it. The compact design of the printhead, a 20 umbilical, and the ability to print in any angle (360 rotation), even straight up, means you can produce your digital image on just about any substrate, in just about every in-line application imaginable. For bindery applications, position one printhead upside down underneath the plow station, and add a second printhead printing at 90 on the same plow station! You can even roll the PrintPro unit from job to job as necessary. High-Speed Digital Printing Clocking in at 967 feet per minute (that translates to over 50,000 mail pieces per hour with in-line automatic mail sorting), the PrintPro system is ready to take on your fastest throughput (including verified readable Postnet bar codes printed at over 700 feet per minute!). Whatever your imaging requirements addressing, ingredient statements, bar codes the PrintPro system delivers high image quality for your high-speed application.
