2 Declaration of Compliance (EU RoHS) The Restriction of Hazardous Substances (EU RoHS) is an EU directive which comes into effect on 1 st July It restricts the use of the following substance in electronic and electrical products sold in the EU: Maximum Concentration Levels Substance/Material <0.1% (1,000 PPM) Lead (Pb) <0.1% (1,000 PPM) Mercury (Hg) <0.1% (1,000 PPM) Hexavalent Chromium (Cr+6) <0.01% (100 PPM) Cadmium (Cd) <0.1% (1,000 PPM) Polybrominated Biphenyl (PBB) <0.1% (1,000 PPM) Polybrominated Diphenyl Ethers (PBDE) I, the undersigned, hereby declare that the products listed in Annex I are in conformity with European Directive 2002/95/EC (EU RoHS). Notes: 1) Asbestos, Azo Colorants, Ozone Depleting Substances (CFC s, HBFC s, Carbon Tetra-Choloride), PCBs, Polychlorinated Naphthalenes ( 3 Chlorine atoms), Radioactive Substances, Short chain Chlorinated Paraffins, Tributyl Tin (TBT), Triphenyl Tin (TFT), Tributyl Tin Oxide (TBTO) are all compounds that are not intentionally added. 2) Lead (Pb) in some electronic components exceeds the 1000 ppm limit, but is an allowed exemption per the Annex 7 in RoHS Directive 2002/95/EC.
