Boosting safety performance, the spring-loaded covers on the new ES (extra safety) power points remain firmly closed when not in use. To plug-in an appliance, users simply insert the plug into the pin holes of the safety cover and rotate the plug anti-clockwise until the cover aligns with the outlet underneath. The plug can then be fully inserted. When the plug is removed the covers will automatically spring back to the closed position, covering the outlet from inquisitive young fingers and reducing the possibility of accidents. Available in both the Linea and plate formats, the ES power points are poised to be a hit in family homes, public buildings and child care facilities. Coverplates are available in the full range of and Linea colours and finishes. Rotating covers are available in white, black or grey.
