35 Disaster Housing: Utilize guidance documents provided by Florida Division of Emergency Management to develop a Disaster Housing Plan to incorporate detailed implementation procedures, resource inventory, and consideration for long term community redevelopment goals.

36 The Council on Aging services will be in high demand in the aftermath of large scale disaster. Particularly the elderly and frail suffer under disaster conditions. We recommend resources to augment the capability of the council to continue to support the social services agencies in that aftermath of a catastrophic event, to allow them to continue service delivery and expand their capabilities to meet the community needs.

37 Clarify the capacity of Emergency Support Function 15: Volunteers and Donations to continue to support the long term recovery effort. In the aftermath of a large scale disaster.

38 Develop a policy for expanded response after a disaster and address long term recovery issues as they relate to the securing and accurate preservation/restoration of damaged historic resources.

39 Utilize the Kissimmee Convention & Visitors Bureau as a tool to communicate the regions image of a strong, durable community, one which is resilient and will remain vibrant, and the state of the economy will rebound from any losses. Employ branding and promotional tools to communicate the strength of the community. Access established networks to promote the County to local, state, and regional agencies and organizations.
