15 dgmarket Global Marketplace for Business Opportunities dgmarket carries about 30,000 current tender notices, with a total contract volume of $200 billion, including about 3,000 current development assistance tender notices with a total contract value of about $10 billion (annual figures are about 6 times larger) Summaries of all 30,000 tender notices available in 8 languages (English, French, Indonesian, Italian, German, Portuguese, Russian, and Spanish) 80% of new visitors are searching for tendering opportunities in languages other than English Tender notices only entered in one language. Summaries in other languages generated automatically, with the help of a large controlled vocabulary (a goods and service classification with 10,000 categories)

16 dgmarket New Services dgmarket will soon offer to publish full bidding documents electronically (only in the original language) New information feeds will be added from other electronic procurement systems in both industrial and developing countries, including bilateral development assistance, where available, e.g., the U.S. Now offers its platform to governments and/or private sector partners as the national tendering portal with separate branding and design -- the first ones are expected to start within a few weeks in Venezuela and Indonesia Evaluating whether AI technologies (concept extraction) can be used to present notice summaries in other languages for notices that were created without use of our controlled vocabulary
