4 Introduction This document provides the guidelines to configure Item Master mapping between Tally.ERP 9 and Shoper 9 HO. Prerequisites TallyPOS.tcp SetHOConfiguration.tdl Configuring TDL Go to Gateway of Tally > F 12: Configure > Products and Features Press F4 The TDL Configuration screen is displayed as shown. Set Load TDLs on startup to Yes Enter TallyPOS.tcp in List of TDLs to preload on Tally startup field Enter SetHOConfiguration.tdl in List of TDLs to preload on Tally startup field If TallyPOS.tcp and SetHOConfiguration.tdl are saved in any folder other than the application folder then provide absolute path along with the file name in the List of TDLs to preload on Tally startup field. Note: TallyPOS.tcp must be loaded before SetHOConfiguration.tdl Press Enter to Accept the screen Tally Solutions Pvt. Ltd. 1

5 Integrating Shoper Once the TDLs are loaded, Shoper Integration details can be viewed in the Company Creation / Alteration screen. Set Enable Shoper Integration to Yes The Effective Date and Shoper Head Office Code appear by default. The date can be modified, if required. 6 Enabling Master Mapping Go to Gateway of Tally > F 11: Company Features > Accounting Features The Accounting Features screen is displayed as shown. Set Enable Master Mapping to Yes Press Enter to Accept the screen Tally Solutions Pvt. Ltd. 3

7 Viewing Shoper Integration Menu In Gateway of Tally the menu Shoper Integration appears under Utilities. All Shoper related options can be accessed from this menu. The Gateway of Tally is displayed as shown. Tally Solutions Pvt. Ltd. 4

8 Importing Masters from Shoper 9 HO to Tally.ERP 9 Existing Tally Company In the case of existing Tally Company, the items in Tally should be mapped with the Principal Items imported into Tally from Shoper 9 HO. The transactions are exported to Shoper 9 HO based on this mapping. Go to Gateway of Tally > Shoper Integration Select Synchronise to begin Tally.ERP 9 and Shoper 9 HO synchronisation Master Mapping Got to Gateway of Tally > Shoper Integration > Master Mapping The Master Mapping menu is displayed as shown. Select Auto Mapping to map Principal Items with items existing in Tally Tally Solutions Pvt. Ltd. 5

9 Viewing Unmapped Items If the item names in Tally are not exactly the same as the Principal Items then the items remain unmapped. Go to Gateway of Tally > Shoper Integration > Master Mapping > Un Mapped Items The unmapped items existing in Tally is displayed as shown. The unmapped items can be manually mapped. 10 Manual Mapping of Unmapped Items Go to Gateway of Tally > Shoper Integration > Master Mapping > Multiple Mapping / Single Mapping > Create The Master Mapping screen is displayed as shown. The List of unmapped stock items is listed on the right side of the screen. Select one item and press Enter The selected item moves to the Stock Item Name field and the Principal Items list is displayed on the right side of the screen. Select the appropriate Principal Item to be mapped Press Enter The selected Principal Item moves to the Principal Company Master field. Tally Solutions Pvt. Ltd. 7

11 The Master Mapping screen is displayed as shown. This completes manual mapping of one item. Similarly, map all the required items. Tally Solutions Pvt. Ltd. 8

12 New Tally Company In the case of a new Tally Company, the items are created in Shoper 9 HO and sent to Tally during Tally.ERP 9 and Shoper 9 HO synchronisation. Centralised creation of item masters saves time and maintains uniformity across locations. Go to Gateway of Tally > Shoper Integration Select Synchronise to begin Tally.ERP 9 and Shoper 9 HO synchronisation On completion of synchronisation, all item masters created in Shoper 9 HO will be imported to Tally.ERP 9. 13 Clear Mapping This option is used to delink the relationship between the mapped items. Go to Gateway of Tally > Shoper Integration > Master Mapping > Clear Mapping The Master Mapping screen is displayed as shown.
