23 Scope & Objective 1 st High Level Forum on GGIM Engage and associate with the Geospatial Industry; Interact and facilitate participation of geospatial industry as an stakeholder in the UN GGIM Initiative; Work together to develop geospatial information and tools for meeting the current global challenges as outlined in the United Nations GGIM strategy document; Create awareness and promote utilization of geospatial information at various levels;
24 Scope & Objective 1 st High Level Forum on GGIM Develop tools and solutions for setting up geospatial data infrastructure and dissemination of geospatial data to people; Develop frameworks and mechanisms for making use of spatial data available in the private sector (for instance Goolge Earth/Map, Microsoft Bing Maps, ESRI s Geography Network) for the purposes of meeting the goal of GGIM to contribute to millennium development goals; Identify and incorporate views and suggestions of the geospatial industry towards developing geospatial policy framework and capacity building.
25 Contribution to GGIM 1 st High Level Forum on GGIM Recommendations and conclusions shall be drawn based on discussions and dialogue during the exchange forum. It is suggested that a brief on recommendations and conclusions shall be presented in Plenary Session of the High Level Forum on GGIM by the Moderator of the Exchange Forum.
26 Fellowship Program 1 st High Level Forum on GGIM Korean Government will invite high-level government officials for the First High Level Forum on GGIM and Policy Training Participation on UN-GGIM Policy Training 30 developing countries The fellowship program will provide a limited number of countries with full financial support including airfare, local transportation, hotel and meals.
